Worst quasi bank ever. stay away.

Payoneer has given me one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a financial service.

They held my money for over a month and a half, closed my account, and still failed to send the funds back to the sender or release them to me. Their own message confirms that the money is still sitting inside Payoneer’s system, yet they continue hiding behind excuses about documentation, internal checks, escalation, and verification.

I also filed a formal complaint more than a month ago, and even that has produced no resolution. If they continue dragging this out past the 8-week complaint deadline, I will pursue every legal and regulatory option available.

This is not how a legitimate financial company should treat customers. Holding funds indefinitely while locking the customer out of the account and offering nothing but polished delay tactics is unacceptable. If they cannot complete the payment, they should return the money immediately.

In my experience, Payoneer has handled this situation with zero urgency, zero accountability, and zero fairness. I would not trust them again, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

how can u charge a 15$ fee for transactions under 375USD , like bro , i get small amounts form gaming marketplace and this ammount is big , the worst payment service ever

Terrible Experience!!

Terrible Experience!!! Wish I could give negative stars. Payoneer's customer service is horrible. I have tried to recover my Payoneer account since February but can't. They reply emails with canned responses that don't address the issue and don't pick up phone calls from users in Africa. If you live in Africa, you are considered a fraudster or scammer by default. It takes over a week to reply to each email and each time it is a agent who asks you to explain everything again.

The worst service I ever experienced in…

The worst service I ever experienced in my entire life.
I have withdrawn my Fiverr payments from my account. Then tried to log in, and the verification codes are not being sent. Contacted their support team. Submitted the information asked for by the automated response. They promised a review in two business days. But it's been 3 days.

WORST FINANCIAL COMPANY

Payoneer is one of the most frustrating, unreliable, and user-hostile financial platforms I have ever had the misfortune of using.

Account freezes happen with little to no warning. Funds get locked for weeks or months. Support gives copy-paste responses that solve absolutely nothing. You are constantly asked to upload the same documents over and over again, only to be told later that something else is suddenly required. There is no clear explanation, no timeline, and no accountability.

Their “customer support” is basically a black hole. Live chat agents either disappear mid-conversation or repeat scripted lines without actually reading your issue. Escalations lead nowhere. Emails go unanswered. You feel completely powerless while your money is being held hostage.

The platform markets itself as a solution for freelancers and international workers, but in reality it creates stress, delays, and financial uncertainty. If you rely on consistent income, Payoneer is a terrible choice.

I strongly recommend avoiding Payoneer unless you enjoy fighting for access to your own money.

One star is generous.

Thieves!

Thieves!
I work as a freelancer to supplement my income. I just received a payment from Fiverr and was ready to clear my debts.
I logged into Payoneer to withdraw to my bank only to find Payoneer has awarded itself all my balance.
They have literally paid themselves with all my balance. Mind you, I pay transaction fees... but they've decided that's not enough.. they can just withdraw all your balance. I hate such companies, man. I'm reporting them to our central bank under financial fraud.

ZERO STARTS IF THAT WAS POSSIBLE

They have got some nerves these THIEVES. I gave up on ever seeing my money again after sending OVER 100 "customer support" requests in over a month only to have their garbage AI system to answer things I hadn't even asked. Now they have the ABSOLUTE NERVE to months later send me email requesting documents for "account review". Documents they already had when I was originally forced to open the stupid account with them, which they had already accepted. As others have already pointed out on other review sites, these are just tactics of theirs SO THEY CAN KEEP YOUR MONEY FOR THEMSELVES. Disturbing they are allowed to operate.

Dumbest Support Ever

It was a terrible experience. Payoneer's customer support is so stupid, inept, and ignorant that they are essentially holding my money hostage. I think this is the worst financial service experience I have ever had. I made a huge mistake by entrusting Payoneer with my money. This business lacks customer respect, responsibility, and urgency. I would strongly advise everyone to stay away from Payoneer at all costs. It is definitely a warning sign if a platform requires you to use Payoneer.

Trash Level services

F**king service, I can't connect with their live chat. Per reply takes a minimum of 1 day. Also, they take money without giving proper advantages. They charge yearly about to 30$, also the withdrawal dollar rate is much lower. They couldn't help me connect my UK Bank account easily. I will leave Fiverr and Payoneer soon. Carry your business with noob level sellers if you continue with these policies.

There is no end to payoneer's greediness

I changed all my payment options to Paypal, which is much better than payoneer, and much stable from many years

they are just stole the money

they are just stole the money, charged annual fees 2 times, maybe it's faut for their corn job processing, and tey even not say it's charged double, they say it's single charge, it's about currency conversions thats why you see multiple transaction bla bla, but i has balance $2280 and after their 2 times charge my balances goes down to around $2218, i don't have any card and there clearnly say for "Annual account fee"

They made the rules, they deduct your money without your permission infact you pay fees for every transaction.

I was charged fees for a card I never received, and despite my messages, no quick solution was provided. It’s unacceptable to charge for a service that was never delivered.

Total lack of transparency and professionalism. I strongly do not recommend this company.😡😡

The worst!!!!!!!!!!!! Can not change name .... endless verification process.... also somehow my card was hacked AGAIN (NOT SAFE) and i can not get a new card since basicly their customer service is non existant or they hire completely illiterate people!

The epitome of Incompetence!

I have never seen such utter incompetence in a financial tech application. After spending over 4 hours today and 2 hours last week, and enough documentation to clear the highest levels of NATO security, they still can’t even confirm a payment. They froze my account after 3+ years, claiming not enough documentation. Called "support", and they confirmed that the account was blocked due to documentation, but couldn't offer a solution except to re-apply. Of course, I couldn't "re-apply" because my email was also froze.

Stay away from Payoneer

Stay away from Payoneer, it is a SCAM! I had to connect my Airbnb account to Payoneer because I had a previous bad experience with Paypal (another total SCAM!) and it simply does not work! They keep up asking me to restart the whole registration process over and over again, while at the same time keeping more than 1000 € which have ALREADY been sent by Airbnb to them! Payments which Payoneer themselves each time communicated by e-mail to have received from Airbnb, complete with ID and amount clearly shown! I sent innumerable e-mails, each time mostly answered by automated reply mails, with the usual non-sense vague guidelines, but never actually answering my specific fundamental question, i.e. where is my money??? Stay away, or you'll risk to be literally robbed!
