Filled out their form to schedule a call on their website. Never received an email confirmation so I called and spoke with their a.i. robot answering service. It confirmed that I had a meeting scheduled. Half an hour later I received a phone call from Marcela telling me the form never went through and resubmitted my information. She asked me to refresh my email because she received confirmation that it sent on her side. I told her I was checking and she hung up on me! Never did receive that email either. I would stay VERY far away from this company as these first interactions were definitely huge red flags of what's to come!

I’ve had a great learning experience with MAG. Their content is clear, practical, and based on real Amazon selling experience—not just theory. Incredibly high priced. No value. Switched managers 4x in 12 months. Rude.

Did a trademark for us wrong and then left us hanging when Amazon denied it. I was cordial with him and he BLOCKED me on all social medias. Total clown show this guy is running.

I worked with MAG during the Covid era while working for a company I am no longer with. We worked with a guy named Thomas, who was a pleasure, and I believe the knowledge and value brought to the table was solid. The expectations from the company that I worked with were excessive. When I left, they were still working together, and I have nothing but good things to say about MAG - I won't comment on the "client"

However, my review here isn't meant to focus on MAG - I want to bring some positive attention to Steven Pope because the guy deserves it. I've followed him on LinkedIn for a while now, and his contributions have been constant....raw....honest....truly not the type of content you see coming directly from the founder of a company like this. He grinds like no other, and it's impressive and has been the first to bring news to the Amazon community more than once. Whether he's got personal things to deal with or changes taking place at the company, this is a guy who will lay his cards out anytime, and that level of honesty is admirable. Some may take offense at times, but sometimes the raw truth just isn't for everyone...and that's what you're going to get.

Most of the time his LinkedIn posts are educating the community and I consider him to be among the top people sharing information consistently like that.

He also takes the time to coach/chat with some randoms like me and will throw some tips out and help if he can - and he's never sent me an invoice for that, so that's a pretty quality way to operate.

He's just a very unique and hardworking guy, and I don't think he gets enough credit for this. I don't know him personally, but we've chatted enough that I can tell you he is truly a genuinely kind person and business owner who started from the bottom and climbed to the top by working his ass off - literally, look at the guy, he's reverse aging and in the best shape of his life on top of it all. Doing everything he is doing takes true dedication and ambition - and he's a rare gem that isn't appreciated enough.

We've worked with many agencies who tend to slack after a few weeks or months of working together, but MAG is different they have surpassed our expectations and continue to deliver and perform every month. I hired My Amazon Guy for their full-service package ($2,500/month) after having a good experience with them in the past. They handled an ASIN rescue for me once, and that went well — so I believed they’d be a reliable choice for full account management. Unfortunately, the full-service experience was nothing like the one-time job.

Over the three months I worked with them, profitability declined significantly. They managed to bump revenue for a short time, but only by aggressively raising ad bids. In my experience, this felt like a superficial, short-term tactic rather than real strategy. Yes, sales went up — but profit tanked. Once the inflated ad spend stopped, so did the “results,” leaving my account in worse shape than before.

Another major issue was inconsistency. The manager responsible for my account was switched during the contract, which only added to the confusion and lack of continuity. Combined with the fact that they frequently forgot important details about my account — even after being reminded — it felt like nobody truly had a handle on the big picture. The quality and attention to detail just weren’t there.

While the contract was active, they were responsive, and communication itself wasn’t the problem. But once the contract ended, that responsiveness vanished. I asked a straightforward question about whether my account permissions had been removed, and I received no reply at all. That’s not acceptable, especially when dealing with sensitive account access.

Overall, based on my experience, I cannot recommend My Amazon Guy for full-service management. The strategy felt shallow, profits suffered, account details were repeatedly overlooked, and the lack of consistency — plus zero follow-up after the contract — left a very negative impression. They did well with my previous ASIN rescue, but their full-service offering fell far short of expectations.

I originally hired My Amazon Guy to help fix a UPC issue on one of my main Amazon listings. The case became extremely complicated, and for several weeks the listing was completely stuck in stranded status with no resolution in sight. During that time, I faced major operational and financial difficulties.

However, as of December 5th, My Amazon Guy did successfully resolve the core issue, and the listing is now back online and working properly.
For this specific achievement, they deserve 5 stars, it was not an easy case, and they did eventually manage to fix what I hired them to fix.

That being said, the process leading up to the solution was very costly.
Because of decisions made earlier in the case, I incurred tens of thousands of dollars in removal fees, relabeling, lost Q4 sales, and operational disruptions that could have been avoided with a more careful initial approach.

So while I truly appreciate that the issue is now resolved, and I want to acknowledge their persistence and final success, I can only give 4 stars overall due to the significant financial impact this created for my business.

I hope future clients benefit from improved processes and clearer risk communication.
But again, I do want to emphasize: they ultimately solved the problem, and for that, I am grateful.
