lost paper work and slow work

in the process of filing got the platinum service on 1/17 I sent in the paperwork and followed the directions they sent me on 1/17 the received it in the mail room I know because I sent it fedex so it sat there in the mail room until 1/22 and at 1/31 during the close of business day I got an email saying two documents were not notarized first off the first document was in triplicate and was first in the instructions the second I was told not to sign or notarized come to find out they sent the wrong instructions so to rectify this they were supposed to give a call back which did not happen and to top it off I have to resend paper work and get it notarized again but it took close to 14 days for them to get back to me and now instead of me getting a supervisor to speak and rectify by giving me a direct address to send back the paper work I got customer service not a case worker and I have to send it to the mailroom which will take a week just to get to it I will deal with it because I need the divorce process to start but from just starting to deal with this company very sloppy with paperwork and correcting what they did wrong

Rip off

Rip off, they don't tell you it is a subscription service. I paid like 240 dollars and then found out later if I want to continue they will need another 240 dollars. I never knew I was under any time constraint. When you try to call them they don;t answer before your cell batteries die. I did get through eventually and the automated system just hung up on me. I will be going to a real lawyer after this.

Hi Baron, we did answer your inquiry the same day you send your question to us regarding the Parenting Classes. See below:

Hello Baron,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

In some counties and states, it is required to complete a parenting class course to file your case and a divorce will not be able to be filed unless it has been completed. This meaning, we offer the parenting classes in case you would require them. After a review of your account, the activity reflects that you have not been charged for the classes.

Hopefully, this information was helpful. If you happen to have any further questions, feel free to send an email or contact us at 1-800-604-2860. We are open Monday-Friday from 7 am to 5 pm PST.

Respectfully,

Helped but not honest

This website did actually help me get through my divorce. The papers were mostly accurate, but I did need to get help from a clerk at the court house directing me on how to file.( I did not need all the forms at once and I had to add one or two but not too daunting a process.) My real complaint is two years later ( I used their services in 2017) that they are still trying to charge my credit card. Luckily I used my amex and they are investigating. This is the second time that they tried to charge me a fee for nothing . BEWARE, they are fraudulently charging your cards after the transactions and subscriptions have been cancelled.

scam...scam...scam..DO NOT USE THIS…

scam...scam...scam..DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE...BE WARNED!!!

They will never return your calls, hang up on you. Delay, delay and delay. Spent 3 months trying to get them to correct a mistake on my paperwork that they created not myself. When asked then to be refunded refused because outside of the 30 days. Yea no kidding because it took you 3 months to correct your mistake. The number you call is just a front service for the company actually doing the work. Need to talk to someone in charge? Good luck will never happen. Just the same case worker saying I am sorry. Well those are just words and not worth a damn. Action speak louder. And those actions show me all they care about is stealing your money. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

This website is not what it seems

This website is not what it seems! I purchased add on forms but during the interview when you get to the point where those forms come into play, you're asked if you'd like you purchase them. The only two options you have is skip the form or purchase it again. when you reach out to customer service they tell you to file your case in order to access the forms. but you're never going to get your forms and if you read these reviews you learned that if you file your case you're no longer eligible for a refund. It's not like that matters anyway I've asked for a refund twice and you don't get a real answer back. I'm very very unhappy with this website and this service and I'm way within the 30 days that you're eligible for a refund. Do not believe the website about personal case workers or guaranteed refunds. It's all crap and it's all lies. I called customer service and was on hold for almost 20 minutes before I just gave up. Almost $200 down the drain. I'm just glad I didn't get as deep as some of the other people that have reviewed here, this site is just a money hole and a scam!

Lots of extra fees! Buyer beware!!

There are a lot of extra, unplanned fees.
When you initially sign up, the reviews they are posting are only the 5 star reviews and none of the critical reviews. DO YOUR HOMEWORK.
The initial cost is $158.95. What they don't tell you (and I just found out) is: The initial fee covered a 30 days access to your account only. Should it take you longer than 30 days to fill out the paperwork, you will have to pay additional fees (up to an additional $239/year). Once your paperwork is filed, it says it takes 2 days for someone to review it but for the low low price of an additional $125, you can download the forms in 30 minutes. You don't realize it, but by buying the initial paperwork, you are also signing up for The Life After Divorce Program which is auto charged to your card for $19.99. In some states (like Florida), an online parenting class is required. Do your homework as they are charging $338 for both parents or $169.95 for one parent (both are required by the state of FL) however the FL Dept of Children and Families post approved online providers that cost $40 for both parents. I understand they are a business but if I could afford an attorney, I wouldn't be using this service. And to be tricked into paying additional, unexpected fees is crossing the line. In my receipt, I never got anything in writing showing me the "fine print" so I have no idea if it the 30 day limit was there or not. But I HAVE looked all over the website from the homepage to customer service to help to the TERMS AND CONDITIONS and cannot find anywhere that says there is a 30 day limit. Be careful - much of the information will take a long time to get through and it is very likely you will exceed the 30 days so if you are still considering this, make sure you budget for the extra money. Also, these reviews are not the same as the ones they post when you sign up. Try it - I took snapshots of dozens of reviews that I can’t find when I’m searching the Trustpilot site - not even the 5 star reviews. I have no idea where the reviews they are listing are coming from.
At the end of the day, I got my paperwork back with a LOT of errors and to avoid the hassle of having them rejected (like so many others here), I decided to cut my losses and just fill in my own (free!) paperwork online with Adobe Pro (free for 7 days). My state has a help line when you are filling out the paperwork if you have a question. At least try it when you know there isn't a dispute. Doing it yourself could save you hundreds if not thousands from this shady business.

Don't waste your time or money!

I would never recommend this company or site. They are a complete scam - I used their "services" and was told that it was not correct, convoluted and could not be used in the court house. i requested a refund as the service they provided did NOT do as promised and their response was " since you filled out the paper work we cannot grant you a refund. FILLING OUT PAPERWORK DOES NOT MEAN YOUR SERVICES HAVE BEEN PROVIDED. The paperwork was not accepted which is the whole idea of using this service. waste of time and money. DO NOT USE THEM
