We had Caitlin as a trainer for our doberman puppy. She was amazing and there’s an obvious difference in her obedience. We also felt really at ease leaving our puppy with her and had so much fun watching Caitlin work with her. I must say her personality and performance is awesome, i bet my dog misses her already!

A massive Thankyou to Caitlin - fabulous and very funny young lady. Her pup dates were informative and our boy looked so happy on all the videos sent. We were initially apprehensive of leaving our Huggie (silver worm) for 3 weeks but after the first pup date we knew he was going to be ok and in good care. We thought we would give him few weeks at home before writing a review and whilst we will have to continue with his and our training we have noticed a difference in him. We have also been given excellent support since he’s been home. We highly recommend Caitlin and team Thankyou.

Beth was great, our dog has come back so much calmer after 2 weeks, we need to keep up the work, but been so much easier after spending the time with Beth!

This is Rocky’s second time with MyDogsTrainer and again Beth has been absolutely amazing. Beth goes above and beyond in helping with Rocky. The communication is brilliant. Beth kept me constantly updated answering every question and advising me. If ever I worried Beth put my mind at rest immediately. I truly can’t thank Beth enough and will always use her for any dog training. Beth has been more than just a trainer and Rocky loves her.

Beth has been amazing for our cocker spaniel Oscar!
Not only has Oscar grasped the training that we asked Beth to help us with but he also got lots of walks and cuddles with cute photos to show us how happy Oscar was with Beth.

Beth has given us all the tools to continue her hard work at home, happy pup and happy home!

Super communication from start to finish made our experience so much better leaving the dog with Beth. She’s been great, keeping us updated on his progress throughout with messages, photos and videos. On pickup we went through everything he’d been working on and how to keep up with it at home. Definitely recommend if you’re struggling with the training. Thanks Beth!

I’m very happy with the training. They were all lovely and caring. I noticed a great improvement in my dog’s behaviour form the minute we left the kennel. Of course, we have to keep working at home with her but it was a great foundation. Thank you so much ☺️❤️

Caitlin was superb and our dog has improved x10 since his 12 day reactivity training.
The process with the back office team was also seamless and simple.

Would use again and highly recommend.

Giles as a male Jack Russel is a strong character but after 6 weeks he returned much calmer and some boundaries now in place which makes it much more fun for both of us
Off lead in park , listening ,tolerance of other dogs are particular benefits of his 6 week course

Beth kept me informed of progress with videos and messages. Doris is a different dog much calmer today when I collected her and no jumping up. I have very clear instructions on what to do to continue the training. Beth was amazing with Doris and I am extremely impressed with the progress.

Another amazing experience with Beth. My dog Duke has been back for another 5 day stay as a refresher for his previous training. Could not rate Beth any higher, she is amazing with him and also with me - providing regular updates and a great hand over on collection so I can work on progressing his training myself at home.

I would like to say a big thank you to Yasemina for her effort and support while our Jack Russell, Pickle, had three weeks of residential training with her at Birchwood Kennels in Worlingham. From the minute I dropped her off, I felt that she was in good hands. Yas really listened to my concerns and focused her work and attention on the issues that were worrying me the most. She sent me honest, regular updates and has continued to stay in touch to see how we are getting on. I really feel she cares about Pickle's progress. In terms of Pickle, from the first walk after picking her up I noticed instantly that her recall has been consolidated and she is much more conscious of what I am doing - looking at me, listening and responding to the "let's go" command that Yas introduced for me to use when I need Pickle to be less reactive with other dogs. I know there is no such thing as a quick fix, but Yas has equipped me to build on her training and I know that she will help me out going forward if I have questions or need a refresh. She has even offered to meet up for a walk, which I think goes above and beyond! In terms of the kennel experience, something I had been dreading, I don't think the staff could have been more caring and attentive to the many dogs of all shapes and sizes they have in their charge.

We are so pleased with the work Beth at Southhampton put into our vizsla Molly. They worked on loose lead walking, jumping up, and other behaviours. We noticed the moment Molly came home the changes, Molly seemed calmer and less hyper. Molly visited Beth nearly two weeks ago and her loose lead walking is almost perfect!! Beth has also been really supportive after we’ve had Molly home and I feel I can drop Beth a message and she’ll respond and reassure me! Thank you Beth. I think Molly misses you 🐾 thanks again. I highly recommend Caitlin, she has done a fantastic job with Rio our German Shepherd. He loves her and all the crew in Oxford, he wasn’t so sure he wanted to go home!
He was sent to them as a last resort! He was always a beautiful dog with a wonderful temperament but he would not listen! He needed to learn some manners, he is still only young but with continued training at home, we can see the light lol
He is so much better he listens most of the time .
I will definitely book him in with them in Oxford if we go on holiday, that way he will have a great holiday too with the people he has grown to love.

Caitlin was great with Luna and made a huge difference with her training, and the whole experience was excellent in both Luna's training and also proved helpful in calming her down generally.

The organization throughout has been great and Ruby has been really happy for her 2 week stay. We found it a wrench leaving her but she trotted off very happily, looked happy on all the feedback video and photos and was pleased to see us on pick up but clearly missed Beth, the trainer!

Progress was gradual but was definitely there. Beth thoroughly took us through what they had been doing and coached us on how to maintain progress, and she made it clear we her as a resource for any issues or further questions.

We are VERY grateful to Beth for the progress, the reassurance and feedback across all of the 2 weeks and for the follow up written guidance.

Caitlin’s patience, dedication and beautiful rapport built with my two shepherd mixes is 100% what I attribute to the success we have seen with them at home.

I can see such an improvement in Mulder and Scully and not just in their abilities to follow commands but their engagement and eagerness to perform them too. Training them is now something that we genuinely all enjoy and have even managed to teach them a few new commands myself since they have been back home!

My dogs were made to feel so welcome and the video updates really put my mind at ease to see how relaxed and at home they felt with Caitlin and the rest of the staff.

During the hand over Caitlin made sure we knew what we would need to do to continue the successful training at home and knowing we have the lifetime support there, should we ever need it, is invaluable.

It’s a big step leaving your much loved pet with someone else for 2 weeks. So here is Basil’s story:
MDT were very helpful and reassuring when responding to our initial enquiry. Basil gets upset/reactive when he is nervous or unsure. We saw this as an opportunity to reset his behaviour and our understanding of him through someone else’s eyes. Beth sent us regular updates and videos showing his progress and how he was dealing with potentially stressful situations. Beth also provided training resources relevant to Basil’s future progress. Basil is a young dog and still a work in progress, but he is definitely calmer and he looks for guidance now, instead of “doing his own thing”. So we believe we got what we were looking for from the training for both Basil and us.

I don’t even know where to begin with this review, but I’ll start here… due to an awful tragedy I ended up being widowed and left with our 3 beautiful labradors. It became clear quickly that they were finding it hard to adjust to life with mum in charge. I had booked in to take my bears 4hrs up country to a residential trainer who was let’s just say very well followed on social media. Something just didn’t feel right and I pulled out and my god I’m glad I did! I stumbled across MDT, from the get go I spoke to a lady called Emily who was so kind and helpful given my situation, I explained all my issues.. lead manner’s, reactivity, I was at the point where I couldn’t even walk my dogs! Emily arranged for me to speak to the trainer at the Southampton branch Morgan, who was great and reassuring. Morgan let me know straight away that she would be working alongside a new dog trainer Beth, who was taking over the training at the Southampton branch. It really felt like a good fit for me and my 3 bears, so we booked in. I was so nervous to drop them off as they stayed for 3 weeks, we met people there who said how great the kennels were and that their dogs loved staying there which made me feel better! Fast forward to collection day, I cannot even begin to explain the difference between my dogs and the magic Beth has worked! Like I said it was so bad I couldn’t walk them, well they were walking great, and they followed all the directions Beth had taught them. I was nervous but it was my turn to try and I couldn’t believe it. What a difference!! The next part blew my mind, my reactive dog that would literally go nuts at the sight of another dog actually sat and made no noise whilst another dog walked past us. I couldn’t believe my eyes!! It’s so clear how much Beth cares about animals, I just can’t fault her. She sent me updates and videos of them really regularly, and what I really liked was the videos were all real, it wasn’t staged and she pointed out all the areas we’d need to continue to work on. One of the best parts about MDT is the aftercare support, I know Beth is on hand to continue to support me, she genuinely cares and wants us to succeed. I am beyond grateful to Beth and am so glad that I chose MDT for my 3, I can’t wait to see them continuing to thrive with her guidance! Thank you Beth you’re amazing!!

We were so worried about leaving Ruby for two weeks of training. She is a 3 year old Frenchie and has never been away from our older dog Chase. And rarely away from us. Morgan was amazing with her ! We got regular updates, she asked questions along the way and adjusted the training to be sure she was getting to know the whole Ruby. So proud of Ruby and a massive thank you to Morgan for setting a great foundation on her reactivity and lead work. 🥰
