I appreciated my service rep, Kranth. I found him very, very helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. My beef is with how mydomain, web.com, and domain.com are managing the consolidation. Franly speakin... See more

REally is an excellent product. Quite happy with it
Awful! They've taken down our site because they wanted icann verification. We never recieved any notification about this. Their support is totally unable to help apart from to say they're "Sorry we... See more

Extreme price increase
Extreme price increase. Explanation from the support on why "to fight inflation". I don't even think they understand they are creating it, not fighting it.
Service
You can not talk to anyone any more. They cannot help you on messenger. Use another company. Their customer service sucks.
Avoid MyDomain - They Charge You For Things You Didn't Order
I used MyDomain for around 20 years, and it had been a good registrar. In recent years, however, its prices increased significantly, plus I kept getting charged for things I did not order. Most recently, I was charged almost $20 for what the invoice says is ".org" - yet I have no domains registered there. Tech support refused to refund my money yet could not explain the charge (I have disputed it via my credit issuer). DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Was good, now gone bad. Avoid.
I have been a customer since about 2007. For the first 10 years or so they were fine having over 70 domains with them.
Recently I started getting weird charges for several hundred dollars in one transaction in addition to the renewal fees (which also got very expensive). The billing center has no record of these large individual transactions. There is no way to reconcile what they are for. None of the invoices relate to these transactions.
Support is horrendous. The new UI to manage everything required 6-10 clicks to turn off renewals. The UI is 100x slower than the old one. Everything is worse. Domain controls dont work properly half the time.
Avoid.
MyDomain abusing its long term customers
I was seriously unwell and in hospital. Cancelled a renewal on the same day that MyDomain took money from my account, sixteen days before the actual renewal of the domain. Refused to refund the money.
I have been using MyDomain for my personal email
I have been using MyDomain for my personal email domain. I was paying roughly $25 every two years. This year was the renewal year and I had a charge of over $70 to renew. More than 200% increase for just email services. I contacted them and I was told that it was the rising costs for upgrading, renewing and maintaining our servers necessitate us to raise the price of renewals. I wasn't notified of the changes in the price either. It was sent to an email address I don't use, when they should have sent it to the email address that I have my domain with them.
No clue about anything DNS - stay away
We were hosting domains with MyDomain for years but now we will remove all our domains from their grasp.
Our defining moment:
We recently moved DNS servers to new IPs and it means that MyDomain as registrar needs to update the IP addresses of our custom DNS servers at the root TLD registry, We had 5-10 chats with them and they still not understand what to do. The chat supporters are absolutely clueless. They changed DNS entries in a clueless way so all of our services would have failed, if we had not caught it early. Do not rely on them for anything business critical. The problem is still unsolved and we are losing money and customers because of it.
From Bad to Worse
I am convinced this Company exists in name but not reality. Existing customers do not benefit from special prices that apply in their promotions and existing customers will be rebilled forever if they do not do something to leave at the end of the term. There is also a CONSIDERABLE difference in what they say are standard prices and what is actually charged. Their site entered from two different directions ( one as an existing customer and then as a new potential customer) shows substantial differences between what is standard prices. ANY Company that treats Customers like that is not worth dealing with. Leave now.
Absolutely dreadful company
Absolutely dreadful company - DO NOT under any circumstances have this company involved in ANYTHING business critical.
The support is outsourced, and can't even answer basic questions, and certainly have no technical ability or knowledge.
It should be noted too that the pricing is far higher than most of their competitors, they no doubt rely on auto-renewal, hoping people won't notice just how much they are being overcharged.
I am now in the situation of trying to leave their service, and everything is moving at a glacial speed - so if you take the sensible decision to leave they feel entitled to take revenge, deeply unprofessional.
Scaaaaaaammmm
Scaaaaaaammmm, NEVER buy anything from Mydomain, they took my money for scam products that doesnt work.
And they refuse to give you the EPP key to your domain, when you ask for it.
It literally does not get any worse…
It literally does not get any worse than this lot - I'd rather move into an Ebola ward in Sierra Leone than ever have dealings with this bunch of crooks again. I signed up with them TWO years ago but when I found that their hosting and add-ons were so not user friendly, I switched to Go-Daddy about two weeks after signing to My Domain (because My Domain were so $#*!e). GoDaddy are the dogs b*llocks as far as I'm concerned. My Domain should have stopped their emails but they didn't. On and on they came. A year later, I received another slew of emails which steadily gathered in pace coming up to the renewal date of my original signing with My Domain - happily I didn't put an auto-renewal option on my credit card otherwise they would have renewed everything until the cows came home. It's impossible to get them to stop emailing me and the emails are quite threatening in their content. They have stated that I owe them 0.00 - yes, nothing, not a cent, but the aggressive emails continue to come. You owe us money they assert. I say their bills are at nil - but My Domain is ignoring this and will not stop sending the emails despite my asking them to stop. So I've decided to show these people up for the bullies that they are - today I received an email stating that despite owing them nothing, my website is down when it is alive, well and kicking ass on GoDaddy domain hosting. Their wording would scare the $#*! out of anyone who isn't absolutely certain of their rights and facts. I told My Domain that I would write a review and here it is. Avoid them like the plague. Run as far away and as fast as you can even if you trip across this site and they offer you every single facility going for free. You have more chance of getting your jewellery back from a bunch of grave robbers about to come down off a week's binge on crack cocaine.
Fraud!
Fraud!
I cancelled my domain 3+ years ago and they continue charging for "Domain Privacy" saying that needs to be cancelled separately (even when the domain is cancelled) and refuse to refund the amount saying "it was in the past".
FSB is fantastic
MyDomain is holding my domain name hostage
MyDomain is holding my domain name hostage for 60 days stating ICANN changes and their 60 day rule but i haven't changed ANYTHING and so if anything has changed THEY did it to hold my domain hostage. These people are crooks and should be in prison. The only consolation is when our economy crashes they are all out on the street because there is no way they will survive what is coming if they are this criminal and incompetent.
Additionally they sent me an email threatening to delete my entire account (causing me to lose access to my domain name forever) because they claimed I hadn't paid a bill that was due for months when there is no record of this bill being due anywhere inside my account AND they have my credit card on file so why not just charge it?
THEN I found on my credit card statement that the SAME day they sent me the threatening email they somehow figured out how to charge my card, all by themselves! so they charged the exact amount they were threatening me over. Did they send me an email like "Great news, your account is safe, we charged your card!" Nope. They did not. They didn't send me anything. So now I have NO clue if their incompetence will trigger an account deletion even though all their hoops have been jumped through.
I have no idea if this company is a bunch of legit con artists or if they're just so incompetent, it's easily confused for evil. Either way this company is not trustworthy. I was with them for over 10 years and in the beginning it was fine, but their company is being so poorly managed even an instagram-famous dog shouldn't register domains with them. Stay away. You've been warned.
One ticked off Senior Microsoft Developer
The most horrible domain hosting company on the planet. I have hosted over 50 domains with this company over the last 10 years and the quality of service has tanked. They will find ways to still change you for services after you have moved your domain away or cancelled your domain. They charged me for a domain I no longer hosted with them and domain privacy a year after I closed down the domain. They give you no options to turn domain privacy off. The changes will not even show up in your billing statements on your account, so you have to prove to them they charged you.
Terrible Customer Support.
The worst customer support in the hosting business. Time of response is too slow, sometimes days, and how they treat customers is simply terrible.
Kein Impressum.
Fazit: Finger weg!
Übersetzung von google:
I was a mydomain customer for years.
A few years ago everything went correctly. Invoices were clear and understandable.
For some time now, some things have stopped working. You get bills for things you don't want, such as Domain Privacy + Protection.
However, the invoice does not state which domain is for which, if you have several domains there, you cannot assign that.
Furthermore, mydomain seems to employ people who cannot calculate simple sums.
Amount Due: $ 11.33
Tax: $ 2.47
Total: $ 15.46
My total is $ 13.80.
I wanted to clarify the matter in the chat, you can forget. The employee didn't even notice the mistake.
I should send a screen shoot. Hello???? I received the invoice by email. Mydomain is hiding behind noreply.
There is nowhere on their website an email address for contacting them. There is also no imprint.
Two domains of mine are still listed there in my portfolio although they are no longer with mydomain. I withdrew these domains from there two months ago.
Further in the text: A domain that has to be renewed in June, for which I received an invoice in April.
I have now also removed the domain from there.
I can only warn against mydomain. No correct invoices, clarifications are only possible with a lot of effort. No imprint.
Conclusion: hands off!
Systematic overcharging
Long time customer but have discovered that mydomain.com have been overcharging me for the last two years. They've been passing on domain privacy charges for domains I have never owned. They partially refunded me but the billing is so opaque it is difficult to work out what is going on. I am moving all my domains away at the first opportunity. Check your billing too.

mydomain are opportunistic and corrupt usurpers
This is the copy of the response that this company gave me when they themselves stayed in 24 hours with the busy domain of a client that I did not renew on time.
however I have domains that expired 5 years ago to availability.
"Unfortunately, at this time the domain name is no longer available for renewal.
If you have any further questions, please chat with us at https://helpchat..."
after being a client for more than 15 years mydomain are opportunistic and corrupt usurpers
