Marketing call to TPS listed number

This company made an illegal marketing phonecall to my Telephone Preference Service (TPS) listed number, interrupting my work. When I complained to the caller she wished me a horrible Christmas, and hung up!

I called the company back to ask them to remove my details and they claimed that the TPS doesn't apply for the first call they make to a number. That is wrong, it does apply and even one phone call is illegal.

It's the calling company's responsibility to filter out TPS listed numbers *before* they call them.
