TLDR: They overcharged me by €10 due to them entering the wrong package measurements, and wouldn't rectify it.

Longer version:
I used myGermany to forward a tiny package on to me. I used their shipping estimator beforehand, which estimated €19 in fees. When it eventually arrived, I was charged €29.7 - a 50% increase.

I queried this with myGermany, and they gave me package dimensions that bore no resemblance to reality - their "recorded" dimensions were 3x the actual volume of my package. Even entering their package dimensions they recorded in to their estimator only came to €24.

After multiple emails back and forth with support, they offered €5 credit to my account.

Needless to say this is worthless - I wouldn't trust that any future deliveries aren't also charged 50% higher.

Have been using MyGermany for a few years now. Majority of the time receipt/consolidation/shipment progress quickly and efficiently. Website is a little quirky but once you are used to it, its very straightforward. Whenever there were minor delays, or missing packages - emailing MyGermany team is easy, and things get resolved promptly. So overall, no issues in two years, packages are well consolidated and well packed avoiding damage. Customer Service is responsive. Pricing is competitive, so overall highly recommended.

I recommend MyGermany for package fowarding services. I've used them multiple times within the span of a couple years and I've always been satisfied with the ease of the website and the turnaround time of shipping once I paid for fowarding. I've been able to purchase and recieve multiple items that wouldn't ship directly to the U.S. because of them.

I have been using myGermany for around a year using their services as my EU package forwarding service to the Philippines.

Everything has arrived without issue when I select their DHL door to door service.

I would have no issue in recommending their services.

I often use freight forwarder services from many countries and I have to say that for packages from Germany I will always go with MyGermany without a doubt.

I think that they always choose the right shipping cardboard size (this way I don't pay extra useless shipping cost) and they nicely protect the packages.

And above all, the 60 days of free storage is very comfortable.

They get one star off for being extremely slow - takes them literally weeks to just process a package that arrived to their warehouse, weeks to repackage a few packages into one box, etc.

They get one more star off for bribing customers for positive reviews with discounts.

I've been using myGermany for several years already, and there haven't been any problem so far. 60-day free storage is great, goods are dispatched fast, the shipping cost is reasonable, and customer support is great.

It's exactly what they say it is, they forward your packages to anywhere in the world from Germany, with tracking and even freight shipping, you can get anything delivered to you.

I have been using MyGermany for around a year or two now to buy from private German/Austrian eBay sellers and whatnot. Generally I'm really pleased with the service. I've never had any issues like damaged goods. Shipment is fast, cheap and reliable. They also offer free consolidation of multiple packages, which is a real money-saver for me.

After some really responsive customer service from Kate, I paid for MyGermanys’ concierge plus service last week. It was to buy a turntable from Kleinenziegen, so something that required some communication (as promised in the concierge plus service).

Since then I’ve had no updates (or at least none that make any sense - my requests for updates just get forwarded back to me verbatim).

I don’t know what’s happening but I suspect it’s the last I’ll see of my 30 Euros and have little hope of them executing the purchase I’d asked them to.

I’m certainly glad I didn’t hand over the full cost of the item I’m asking them for help with. That would have been 600 Euro lost rather than the 30 Euro I seem to have lost.

Update. It’s a week after I was charged 30 euros and also a week since I last had contact from the company.

Would seem to have been scammed.

I had used another forwarding company in Germany before. But myGermany is definitely my choice from now on. They keep your packages for 60 days for free. I sent them a lot of car parts, more than 25 packages. After that I asked them to be consolidated and they sent me a picture of item in my packages before that. myGermany has been definitely a great experience for me!

I have had excellent experience with mygermany.com but the recent concierge order 422801 made on 26th October 2024 is still not fulfilled and communication related to order is sub optimal. Hopefully, this will resolve.

I'm a spanish game boy collector and, to get some cartridges I need to buy from german sellers. The problem is they doesn't send outside Germany but hopefully, I can use myGermany to receive all I bought in Spain.

Great forwarding company!!! Top service and good prices! The few times I've have had any problems, they have solved the issue. Of all the forwarding firms I have used around the world, I find MyGermany to be the best! I like how easy it is to use, and how easy it is to have an overview. Many good shipping options. I use MyGermany for all packages from Europe - to be resent to Scandinavia. Very recommended!!!

They never sent my package to me and they stopped responding to my messages. They don't even return the money for it. I think some empoyee stole it.

I have an order waiting to be shipped to me, paid for shipping and have emailed, called and logged numerous trouble tickets over the past weeks, and no response. I have used the service previously and had good experience, but now Im worried these guys have gone out of business.
