Booking process no problem very easy
Booking process no problem very easy, also I find your service is good value for money.
Menu or lack of menu fell far below the standard we would expect from this hotel
Through no fault of the staff who tried their best our stay was a disaster. The toilet in the room we were allocated was broken. We were eventually given a box room which had to be vacated by the hotel chef before we could move in!! There was no à la carte menu and the choices were abysmal and hardly edible. We were booked in for 2 nights but only stayed 1. Breakfast was lovely though and a big shout out to Nicola who was very sympathetic and tried her best to
put things right. However we were very glad to go home.

Gleddoch Hotel and Spa.
Gleddoch Hotel and Spa.
Absolutely appalled at the extremely unprofessional attitude and demeanor of the Duty Manager George Miller. My wife and I were unhappy with our room (57). It smelled of `wet dog' and was on the corner ground floor beside the car park. We believed we had an upgraded room with a view but were relocated to room 65. Again, facing the car park but one floor up. This was despite our booking confirmation stating we had a golf course view. When we spoke to the Duty Manager George Miller to express our disappointment he was very dismissive with a really bad attitude. His initial comment was “There's nothing he can do about it and that there's no guarantees that we would have had a room with a view”. This is irrespective of this being promised on our booking confirmation. When I said I wasn't satisfied with this and that as a regular reviewer on Social Media I would be sharing my experience and dissatisfaction. I had paid for an upgrade to a room with a view and we didn’t get it.
I was incredulous to hear his next statement. He scowled, "Write what you want, we won't be blackmailed or threatened!!!"
Even now, a few days later I am still completely gobsmacked at this response. In 30 years of regularly staying in hotels throughout my business career every week I have never experienced such an example of everything that is wrong with this hotels’ customer service. If this behaviour and attitude is allowed to be accepted at The Gleddoch by a so-called manager responsible for `customer experience,' we will certainly not be back. Such a shame as the rest of the hotel was actually pretty good. We enjoyed the golf course, the Spa and the food was good. Unfortunately, this experience with him overshadowed and ruined our whole trip.
When we eventually had dialogue with the General Manager James Anderson after his time off, our treatment from him was equally unacceptable. He agreed we had a room with a view confirmed on our reservation and offered a paltry £35 refund, the cost of the upgrade and a 20% discount off our next stay. He also said he had raised the issue with the Duty Manager, and that was that.
Two things here- Firstly, after our treatment we have no intention of ever staying in this hotel again, so the 20% discount on our next stay is meaningless. Secondly- For Mr Anderson to just say he has spoken to the duty manager about our issue with him, without any further consequences beggars belief, and just about sums up the general malaise the whole resort has over customer service.
I would caution anyone if thinking of booking a stay here. With the current regime in place be wary!

Plenty of options available on website
We had a "Gift for Two " voucher to use however were unable to get a hotel we wanted for the date we needed. However it was very easy to change the "gift for Two" for a Monetary voucher which we then used for a break at a hotel we wanted.
Found the website to be fast, helpful and easy to use.
