While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. We recognise we may not catch everything, and you can flag anything you think we may have missed. Read more

Written by the company

Inkling is a UK AI tutoring platform built for (I)GCSE and A-level students aiming to expand 1-1 tutoring to those that otherwise wouldn't receive it. We currently support English language and literature, geography, history and business studies. Most AI tools hand students an answer. Inkling does the opposite: it leads the conversation. Using Socratic questioning, it works out what a student actually understands, finds the gaps, and adapts how it teaches until the concept sticks. Students do the thinking — Inkling just makes sure they're thinking about the right thing. That design choice matters. We believe most AI risks widening the education gap, because it rewards students who already know how to prompt well or who have an adult beside them to guide the conversation. Inkling is built so the biggest gains go to lower- and middle-attaining students — the ones who benefit most from a patient tutor who never runs out of time. Parents and teachers aren't left guessing. Inkling keeps them in the loop with a clear picture of what's been covered, where a student is struggling, and what's improving. Inkling was founded by George Greenbury, previously Assistant Head of Digital Education at Clifton College, and Tom Waszkowycz. Clifton was one of our earliest adopters and the setting for our first-year GCSE study. You can try Inkling for yourself at app.myinkling.ai/demo.
