Scam insurance - not comprehensive coverage

This is a scam. I thought I was talking to a healthcare.gov representative and that I had comprehensive medical insurance, but it turned out to be a limited indemnity plan that covers nothing. Paid more than $400/month for nothing and got stuck with thousands of dollars in uncovered bills. If you have this, cancel your credit card. AVOID!!!!

Advertised as a full insurance plan

Advertised as a full insurance plan, did not provide the services they promised. Anytime I called to ask a question about these discrepancies they were extremely rude and attempted to prevent me from canceling my policy. Don't waste your time.

This is a scam company

This is a scam company. Be extremely cautious. They make you think you are talking to healthcare.gov and sign you up for I’m not sure what. Do not use them. I’m devastated they tricked a widow. How can you sleep at night? You took all my information and lied about health care!

**Worst Insurance Company Ever!**

**Worst Insurance Company Ever!**
I had a terrible experience with this company. They sell policies that don't actually include the benefits they advertise. On top of that, even after canceling my policy, they continued to charge me! It's frustrating and feels like a scam. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Save yourself the headache and stay far away!

The worst experience and plan ever

The worst experience ever! I purchased the BalanceCare plan through them. Its the worst plan. They only cover first $20 of labs, most providers dont accept them. When I was trying to find a plan I gave their agent all my provider names and he allegedly looked them up and everyone was in network, only after signing up I found no one was. Paid $300 a month for absolutely nothing!

Dodged a bullet reading the reviews…

Dodged a bullet reading the reviews holy moly ( you know what I really mean) it's not real insurance and luckily I was able to set the transaction date for two days in advance and cancel my card before they could charge it but that was way to close they seemed really legit up until I couldn't recontact the original sales agent asking who it actually was provided by cigna blue shield this couldn't be answered. Ignore all numbers relating to this company as they clearly go under a variety of llcs.

Unscrupulous

They lied.. This is not insurance. They made it seem like they were offering insurance coverage and its something else. I don't know what it is exactly but its not insurance. I tried to call them and the person hung up on me. I then sent an email telling them to cancel and return my funds. I called again and the agent said their cancellation department was closed and I would have to call after the holiday.. I asked if they were going to give me my money back and he said "they would have to explain that." This is not a good company to do business with. Stay away.. Don't make the mistake I did.

DO NOT BUY/CHURCH-BASED SCAM

I am the spouse of a member of this "company" under a plan called Balance Care. They do not cover any medications, only pay for 2 doctor visits in a year (which means no more health care in 2024), and when we planned urgent surgery for my husband, whose parents are footing the outrageous $234 a month bill for this scam (we are check-listing the lies they were told about coverage and it is so long it constitutes fraud). We were told today he cannot have surgery until his inguinal hernia becomes gangrenous (i.e, he is so near death the anesthesia would kill him). I was expected to be happy I was to get a $50k death benefit WHEN my husband dies (double if he "accidentally" dies during surgery). I want my husband to LIVE and so do his doctors, who want to get his intestines out of his scrotum ASAP. Balance Care, however, puts this in its fine print: "we are not an insurance company and our plans are not ACA compliant." You don't see this until you fork over a few hundred bucks, though. I suppose your "membership fee" goes to the "church" that allegedly backs this insurance, but Balance Care does not say what church it is owned by - and I can't find it online, not even on the United Caring Association site that is associated with Balance Care. I suspect the church is as fake as their coverage and only exists on paper so they don't have to report their scam earnings to the IRS. I'll also bet they don't pay their victims' spouses any death claims either, and we hope we don't have to find out! If you want to live, do NOT do business with this company.

Beware - Do not buy

I was very excited about this "non-insurance" health insurance plan. I even thanked God AND told the broker that, "This sounds too good to be true!". And it is. I read everything they had in writing to find out what my BENEFITS were. I saw nothing except several times, "this is not an insurance". They talked a great game but when I asked to be shone WHAT WAS COVERED, they couldn't produce anything in writing. As I was relating the great news to my best friend about how wonderful this insurance was. I heard myself telling her, "I feel like I just bought a car and the salesman had me understanding why he put my trade-in as a deduction from the sale, but at the end of the contract added it back in and called it something else. DO NOT BUY!!!

I was led to believe I was buying…

I was led to believe I was buying insurance. Took the bait, but when I went to get my Insurance cards they want you to check two boxes that they are not major medical coverage. The shifting of names. Not sure where Convergent Health One comes out of nowhere.
