Complete shambles of an operation.

First stumble - A few days after placing an order on 30 May I received an email to say things might be delayed because they were coming from overseas- which is understandable, but it was not clear when ordering this would be the case. Then another few days later I received an email to say that actually my items were on preorder so might take a bit longer - again no indication of this as purchase, and no further information on how long it would take.

I waited a week or so and asked for an update. A few days later I got a reply to say one of the items was taking a while after a few more exchanges I could find out that it was a just a mini that I wasn’t that fussed about so asked to remove that and ship the rest. After multiple exchanges (and trying to push store credits rather than refunds) we eventually agreed on a refund, but then they informed me that the whole order was unable to be shipped. This was obviously frustrating as now it was nearly a month from the original order, but I just asked for them to process the refund - which they agreed to on a Thursday, but asked me to email them again on Tuesday when the person to process it would be available (!!!!). Again, annoying but I thought a light at the end of the tunnel. In the meantime I placed another order elsewhere (which arrived by the Tuesday!). When I followed up on Tuesday the issued a refund for the mini (and not even the whole price of that!), and then it turns out the shipped the rest! It’s taken 6 weeks and has been a complete joke the whole way.

Scam and dishonest. Lodged issue with Fair Trading.

Scam and dishonest company.
I ordered perfumes in May, they were never dis-patched and my 20 + emails asking for updates and a refund got no clear response, just AI generated responses (from Nicole and Anne, disgraceful customer service).

I lodged a complaint with Fair Trading NSW who called me and handled my complaint quickly, as they were well aware of this company.

Avoid at all costs. They will take your money and not fulfil your order.

If I could give them zero stars I would…

If I could give them zero stars I would 🤬 My husband ordered $500 worth of perfume for me months ago and we have not seen any of it.
Despite many emails asking for our money to be refunded they keep ignoring it and just say it’ll come next week, which never comes!!!!!!
I believe they are scammers and I’m in the process of reporting them as such.
DO NOT ORDER OF THESE PEOPLE!!!!!

If I could leave no star I would. Don’t ever use this company. I ordered my perfume, and even though it said ‘in stock ready to ship’ it clearly wasn’t. 3 months of waiting for my order was enough delay for me to request a refund. After acknowledging I was eligible for a refund they then stalled stalled and stalled. Firstly they tried to tell me I ordered a pre-order which was an absolute lie, then every email was ‘how bout another perfume, a discount, refusing absolutely refusing to return my money. It went on for weeks.! I finally received a refund after I sent a screen shot of their terms showing I was eligible for a refund, and threatened I would go to consumer affairs. I was able to get the perfume I wanted delivered from another company within 2 days.

The best perfumes website

Although delivery can occasionally be delayed due to stock availability, the prices are excellent and all the perfumes I received were authentic. Here you can find the cheapest prices in the market.

Product recv was terrific and…

Product recv was terrific and authentic. Great price and easy to shop on the site. The only thing I didn't like was the shipping method. It took a really long time to arrive (7 to 10 days) and with the vendor used it was not able to track where it was but only that it had left specific postal locations which would stay blank for a few days (US POSTAL SERVICE). I would do 5 stars if the shipping wasn't so slow and if it could be tracked better.

Quick delivery and authentic perfume

Really happy with my experience shopping here. The website was easy to use, the ordering process was smooth, and my perfume arrived quickly and well packaged. The fragrance is exactly as described and feels authentic. I would definitely shop here again.

I had a disappointing experience with…

I had a disappointing experience with My Perfume Shop.

I placed an order in early May with an estimated delivery window of 16–22 May. After the delivery date passed with no updates, I had to follow up multiple times before receiving a response. The reason for the delay changed over time, from shipping disruptions to supplier shortages.

Eventually, I was told that one of the items I had paid for could not be supplied. Rather than providing a refund, I was repeatedly offered store credit or a replacement product, despite me clearly stating that I wanted a refund to my original payment method. The remaining two items were eventually delivered after a significant delay on 26 June but I was still left chasing a refund for the unavailable item.

The lack of proactive communication, the lengthy delays, and the refusal to promptly refund an item that could not be supplied made this a very frustrating experience.

Based on my experience, I would be cautious about ordering from this store

Absolutely stoked to receive the…

Absolutely stoked to receive the perfume that was totally unavailable anywhere in Australia.
I ordered my perfume through The Perfume Shop and they managed to source it for me, Aubury's customer service was awesome keeping me updated on the status of my order as well as giving me other options if I wasn't happy to keep waiting.
I'm glad I did wait because when my perfume arrived in the post, I couldn't have been happier. It has been the best feeling wearing my perfume again and knowing it's the only one in Adelaide wearing it is even better 🤣 love your work thank you!
