Wonderful Move
From my first interaction with the person on the phone until the move was completed, everything was smooth and professional. The movers were very careful, polite and professional. The Certificate of Insurance was immediately sent to my building’s office. The movers came on time, with the proper boxes and packing equipment, and completed the job in record time. Impressive!

Took my gear and "discarded" as trash
While moving my neighbor's apartment, Piece of Cake (POC) removed some of my belongings by error.
A crew member took a bag belonging to me containing personal items from an isolated staircase. After some weeks of investigation, only a fraction of my gear was found and returned.
The most part of my belongings were, according to POC, was discarded.
[Update 03/13/2026] After some longer negotiations with POC's Customer Satisfaction Team, we have reached a satisfactory solution with POC accepting responsibility for my loss and reimbursing the money for the discarded/lost/damaged items.
Special thanks to Danilo, POC's Customer Success Coordinator, for his support in helping to right the situation.

NYC Apartment Move Beyond Amazing
NYC Apartment Move Beyond Amazing! We used Piece of Cake for our apartment move in NYC. These guys worked their tails off to get us into our apartment and meet the condo association requirements and restricted time frame. They handled our possessions with care. Nothing broken or missing. Also important to know is that because the elevator could not fit our 3-seat sofa, these guys carried the sofa up five flights of stairs! God bless them! Hire these guys- you won’t regret it!
