1) website says "60 days return, no questions asked". It took us 6 emails, we had to unpack and repack several times during a month to sent several pictures before they finally sent us the return instructions (which is in Netherlands - expensive to ship, was about 25 EUR out of our pocket to do so from Denmark). Worse than usual, but it is what it is.
2) It's been 2 months and we have not received our refund. They proceed with asking the same questions over and over demanding more and more information to drag it out. We've been exchanging 15 emails by now. Customer service is 100% a chat bot btw. I strongly suspect we will never see that refund given they received the package long ago and drag out the conversation with same questions from a chat bot to what seems to be an enternity.
Have in mind - company is from Albuquerque, New Mexico US, the products are directly sent from China, and you have to return the products to Netherlands to some sus warehouse.
Stay far away from this scam company

I ordered two different lamps from Mysa Lights based on their website presentation and claims of European craftsmanship.
Both lamps were shipped directly from China (clearly shown on the shipping labels). One shipment required me to pay CHF 25.10 in customs duties, which was not disclosed on their website.
Both products arrived damaged and do not match the photos or description. The quality is far below what is shown online. The packaging was terrible.
When I requested a refund, I was told I must pay return shipping myself, despite the items being damaged on arrival. Only exchanges or store credit were offered. But clearly I never plan to order from this website again.
Undisclosed China shipping, undisclosed customs fees, damaged goods, and refusal of a proper refund. I would not recommend ordering from this company.

Do not order here. My order number is #14310. I have been trying to cancel my order and get a refund, but so far the “bot” is saying it’s impossible to do so. We can change the order tho, but cancelling is impossible.
In other words: do not order here, cause you’ll end up talking to a bot and there’s no way to get your money back.
Once I’ll get the products that I don’t want, I’ll update how bad the quality is. Judging on all the other reviews the products are even dangerous so do not order here!
To add information: google Witteveen commerce. There’s a topic on Reddit. it’s in Dutch. They operate under multiple different names.
Also you can google: “In de stroom van Chinese webwinkelpakketjes glipt nepdesign er zo doorheen”. You’ll see a news article from NRC explaining their business model and how they scam you out of money. I can’t stress this enough: do not order here cause their products are not safe. Tons of their products have fire safety problems.
Edit: after tons of messages trying to cancel the order they kept saying the package was already processed and on its way. Turned out to be a lie: I just received a notification that they sent the package. It’s lie after lie after lie.

MysaLights is an untrustworthy company. Here is what to expect:
- fake photos on the website, suggesting quality products
- suggestion that products are high quality and manufactured in the Netherlands, while no such company exists over there. It's just dropshipping from China
- Goods arrive damaged and, when customers claim refund, Mysalights proposes a partial (15, 30 or 50%) refund or a credit
- The majority of products are of poor quality, wires are sometimes cut (which cannot have happened during shipping), and you just want to throw them in the bin
- The same products can be found 70% less on AliExpress
- Customer service is fake, and AI generated: replies to complaints systematically include "Unfortunately, we could not locate your order", or "We offered a solution, meanwhile"
To summarize, this company is the worst of all unethical web-based companies, in every way: advertising that 100% refund is possible while never honoring full refund or making it impossible and time-consuming to try to get you money back, lying about the origin and quality of products, location of the company, not providing a telephone number, and what have you.
Customers, don't buy from this company, it's a scam and a disgrace. Stay alert and check reviews!

I ordered two light fittings which were delayed by weeks over the stated delivery times, too late to be fitted by the electrician. (I appreciated the potential for some delay which is why I ordered weeks in advance from a company that claimed 10 working days for delivery). I was told that I would need to pay the return costs.
When they finally arrived, the items were completely incorrect and extremely poor quality, with flimsy construction. There were no fitting instructions, the box was direct from a factory in China.
I left a 1 star review based on my experience, and was told that my refund was conditional on taking the review down. I removed the review, but have left another because I want others to be aware that this company is not what it presents itself as online (see other reviews about drop shipping scams).
Subsequently to this, Mysalights sent seven further emails requesting me to remove or amend my review. I have amended my review to give further detail.
Based on my experiences and the reviews of others (I can only imagine how many other reviews may have been removed in exchange for a refund) I recommend others avoid this company.

Blatant drop-shipping scam dressed up as a “local Amsterdam brand”
If ratings could go below zero, this parasite would be sitting comfortably at -5 stars. Absolute scam artists selling the same mass-produced AliExpress trash you can find anywhere, just marked up and wrapped in fake “local” branding. This place is a joke — a cynical, dishonest cash grab. It's unethical to make money like this in my opinion.
The website cosplays as a premium Amsterdam lighting store, showing items as “in stock" and the shop seems to be located in Amsterdam. That’s a complete lie. In reality, nothing is actually in stock and nothing is physically there. It’s a slick façade designed to make customers think they’re buying from a real European business, when it’s just a lazy drop-shipping operation.
After my wife and I placed an order for an item costing 500 euro that was "in stock", we discovered the delivery time was several weeks. Alarm bells immediately started ringing.
We checked AliExpress and found the exact same product, using the exact same photos, for around 70% less. Same items, same images, same everything — except without the grotesque unethical markup. They clearly wait for your payment, then order the product from AliExpress or a similar platform in China. If that’s the experience and non-guaranteed quality we wanted, we would have ordered it there ourselves obviously.
There is zero transparency, zero honesty, and zero added value. No faster shipping. No better quality. No curation. No customer benefit whatsoever. You’re paying hundreds extra for a pretty website and marketing lies.
If you think you’re supporting a local Amsterdam business or paying a premium for quality and fast delivery, you’re being played. This is pure drop-shipping with extreme markup, hiding behind fake branding and vague language.
We immediately asked for the order to be stopped and were told this was not possible — another clear sign of drop-shipping. We were also asked not to leave a negative review in exchange for a 10% discount. We refused.
Do yourself a favor: don’t reward this kind of deceptive way of doing business. Check AliExpress or Temu first and keep your money instead of handing it to a company that adds nothing and pretends otherwise.

Based on my direct experience with a recent purchase and subsequent attempted cancellation, Mysalights demonstrates significant and frustrating failures in communication, and business integrity.
1. Failure to Process Immediate Cancellation
Fact: I requested an immediate return and refund/cancellation for Order #11731 upon learning of the unacceptable delivery timeline.
Despite my clear, timely request, the company failed to intervene. The order was processed and shipped after the cancellation request, forcing the transaction to continue against my explicit wishes. The company's internal process between customer service and the warehouse is clearly broken, demonstrating a lack of coordination that directly inconveniences the customer.
2. Misleading Communication on Delivery. Inconvenient and Time-Consuming Refund Process, Mysalights (claimed but I seriously doubt!) shipped the item despite my cancellation within half hour of my order, the burden of rectifying their error is placed entirely on me. According to them, to receive a refund, I must:
Be present when the courier attempts delivery. Refuse the package at the door.
Wait for the package to travel back to the warehouse.
Wait for Mysalights to confirm receipt before the refund is processed.
This process turns a simple cancellation into a protracted, multi-week ordeal. A functional e-commerce company should be able to halt a shipment if notified promptly, or, failing that, arrange a simple collection or refund immediately, rather than forcing the customer to manage the rejected delivery and endure weeks of waiting.
Mysalights totally failed to honor a timely cancellation, operated on a highly inconvenient and slow fulfillment model, and resolved the issue by creating a necessary hassle for the customer. This experience results in a poor and untrustworthy customer journey.

I ordered 2 lamps and they arrived within the time advertised on their site. Good quality materials (solid wood base, quality glass shade, good quality hardware) impeccably packaged I installed them and work fine, as advertised. The customer support replied within hours to one of my questions. As one other reviewer mentioned, they arrived through regular delivery services, not DHL, UPS.

Delivery takes forever and now they have £300 of my hard earned money and I have no clue when I will get it back. It’s been so stressful and completely ruined me moving into my new place because I need my money back and the fact they can’t just cancel the order and I have to wait forever to be delivered to then refuse the delivery , is insane.
