Almost 4 years ago, I backed "HEL: The Last Saga" by Mythic Games for approximately $241. Three years ago, I officially requested a refund long before it was known that this game will be sold to CMON. To this day, I have not received a single cent back. Instead of honoring their obligations to backers, Mythic Games prioritized other projects and withheld important updates for months – sometimes over a year.

Now, the IP has simply been sold to another publisher. Mythic Games is shamelessly trying to escape any responsibility for the money they collected. Their behavior borders on systematic fraud and shows a shocking level of disrespect towards their backers.

Mythic Games has not only completely destroyed the trust of its supporters but has also severely damaged its reputation in the board gaming community.

Warning to everyone:
Mythic Games is extremely untrustworthy and treats its backers with complete contempt. Stay away!

I lost more than 900€ to this scam. I didnt get anything not even the basegame of darkest dungeon.

Ran off with my money. Radio silence despite sending several emails over the past year.

Product backed on Kickstarter, failed to deliver, then asked for extra money to deliver, then no communications whatsoever, while starting another project.

Read all the one star reviews, they are 100% right. This is a scam company who fleece anyone who backs their Kickstarter campaigns. I regrettably backed their 6:Siege The Board Game, only to be told after the campaign had ended if I wanted to see the game I had to pay hundreds more or I would get nothing. Their customer services is a joke run by nasty people who basically laugh at you or ignore anything you say. I know I will never see this game or get my money back. So, if you are determined to deal with this company be prepared to be scammed and abused.

Fraud, just taking your money for other products. Stay away from this company. Not possible to get in contact with these criminals

Atrocious wait times for any customer service emails, and like others have said: backing their projects is in no way a guarantee of delivery. They will hold any physical rewards from you unless you pay them more money for what they call "Last mile shipping contributions". This has happened with several of their recent kickstarter board games, and yet they keep crowfunding more games! I couldn't even get a refund within a YEAR from the date of request because of a "company cashflow policy" which meant I was told to essentially wait in line for an indeterminate length of time with no updates on the status of my refund. It feels like I've been scammed.

I am waiting for my product (Darkest Dungeon Boardgame) for several years now. Currently they said they started a new project (Rainbow 6 Siege Boardgame) and are focused on the completion of it, so they don't have time to finish Darkest Dungeon currently.
Why start new projects if others aren't even finished yet?
To top it off, they asked several times for more money now even after claiming the first time was the last time. If you don't pay, you don't get the game but the money can't be refunded currently either.

This company scammed me on two games on kickstarter/gamefound. Even asked me to pay twice only to spend the money on a prevoius not well planed release for a different game. Now they keep emailing to even support and buy the other game already funded with my previous backing..... Will never invest in any Mythic product ever again

Be careful with them as they are frauds and repeatedly have asked for ransom money to "deliver" their games in multiple projects.
They do not deliver and keep changing the rules, so they can scam more money out of people.
