This company has had my vehicle more than 3 months
This company has had my vehicle, trying to fix my transmission, since June 12, 2024, more than 3 months. They have rebuilt the transmission at least 3 times and replaced it once, which lasted almost 100 miles before it failed. They are now telling me that it will be at least some time next week before they can release it to me. I was originally told, based on their diagnostics, that they could get me back on the road for $1,500. After they dismantled my transmission, they said they had found additional issues and it would cost $5,200. After further discussion, they got it down to $4,000. That was June 14, 2024. I am a Driver for Hire and am losing business regularly because I don't have a vehicle large enough to meet the needs of my clients. My wife is the full-time caregiver for her 91-year-old mother and can't be left without access to a vehicle. I called again today. They still can't give me a date when my vehicle will be ready.
