Find another company

This ended up being way more expensive than I expected but I felt trapped into going forward with it because I had already paid for the products and sent to them of course. I requested and expected the product boxes to be opened and just the merchandise to be shipped together in one much smaller box, and I even paid extra for the premium subscription. They didn’t tell me they couldn’t or wouldn’t do my request. What I ended up paying was more than twice what the contents were worth, but I thought it was already being sent as compact as it could be, and that everything would be labeled correctly but then when it was delivered, the ups driver said I had to pay another $38.

We understand there may have been some confusion around repacking goods for your consolidation. While we always remove any outer shipping boxes and reduce as much void space as possible, we do not remove the manufacturer’s packaging unless a customer specifically requests this in advance by contacting our support team. This is because removing original packaging can, in some cases, void the warranty or compromise the condition of the goods. Consolidation is carried out with all items kept in their original manufacturer’s packaging unless instructed otherwise.

If you would prefer the manufacturer’s packaging to be removed in future, that’s not a problem at all — just let our support team know and we can add a note to your account so this is done for future requests.

Regarding the UPS fees, the additional $38 requested by UPS relates to customs duties and import taxes charged by the courier on delivery. These are government-imposed fees that are separate from our service charges and outside our control. As stated in our Terms and Conditions, customs duties, import taxes and any fees levied by couriers or customs authorities are not included in our shipping charges and remain the responsibility of the receiver.

All other companies accept for sending…

All other companies accept for sending documents and credit cards. Unfortunately they don’t accept documents or bank letters to be forwarded. There are other solutions more trustworthy

Our service is designed specifically for parcel forwarding and, as stated in our terms and conditions, we do not forward regular mail or letters. This includes documents, bank correspondence, and credit or debit cards. These restrictions are in place for security and compliance reasons.

MyUKMailbox refused to forward four…

MyUKMailbox refused to forward four tiny tubes of dry sugar pellets from Helios even after I provided the manufacturer’s safety certificate. Two weeks of copy-paste replies later, the parcel’s still stuck. Apparently sugar is now a hazardous material. Never again

Unfortunately, we do not forward items when we cannot reliably identify their contents. This is a safety and compliance requirement and it is reflected in our terms and conditions which state that we cannot ship “any unidentified substances that we deem to be suspicious.” In this case we were unable to confirm the contents to the standard required for forwarding, so we could not ship the parcel. This is not because we consider sugar to be hazardous but because we could not conclusively confirm what was inside the tubes.

We have offered to return the package to the sender and can arrange this once we have your confirmation. Please confirm to our support team that you are happy for our warehouse team to return your package to sender.

Weeks of excuses then told to pay by bank transfer only

I used MyUKmailbox’s BuyForMe service to purchase items from Nike UK, and the experience was incredibly disappointing. Communication was slow, filled with excuses, and full of stalling tactics. For over three weeks, my package sat at their manager’s personal house with no real updates they kept saying it would “eventually be shipped” to their main office, but it never was.

When I finally received replies, they came days or even weeks late and offered no real progress. After waiting over three weeks with no shipment or resolution, I had to file a chargeback just to get a response. MyUKmailbox later admitted that the packages were sitting at a residential address and delayed because their manager was on vacation.

They then offered to let me repurchase the same items I still needed, but only under unfair terms requiring a bank transfer with no buyer protection, even though the delay and mishandling were entirely their fault.

Also, they never answer their phone it goes straight to voicemail and even getting a reply by email is extremely difficult. They only respond when they decide to, which makes communication frustrating and unpredictable.

The whole process felt disorganized and unprofessional from start to finish. I remained polite and patient throughout, but they wasted weeks of my time with empty assurances. I strongly advise avoiding this service until they fix their communication, transparency, and reliability.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am sorry for the frustration and the time you spent waiting. We take your comments seriously and would like to clarify what happened.

Because the retailer does not ship to forwarding companies, we arranged an authorised alternative delivery address used in limited cases to enable orders that would otherwise be rejected. Moving the parcel to our warehouse required management approval and this caused a delay.

Once the parcel reached our warehouse we emailed to confirm it was in your account and ready for despatch. We also included a discount code on shipping as a gesture of goodwill for the delay. We did not receive a reply and later you raised a chargeback. At that point we were unable to despatch the items until the chargeback was resolved.

After the chargeback concluded you received a full refund for the BuyForMe order through your bank. The items could not be returned because the retailer’s returns window had closed by the time the dispute finished. When you contacted us some weeks later to repurchase the same items we offered to proceed by bank transfer, which is our standard approach following a chargeback. That offer remains open along with the original shipping discount.

Regarding our telephone voicemail, we apologise that your calls were not answered. This is our busiest time of year in the run up to the holidays and our lines experience very high demand. At such times we are not always able to answer every call immediately and some go through to voicemail. We did respond to your emails and will continue to provide updates by email.

MyUKMailbox was wonderful

MyUKMailbox was wonderful. They processed my order lightning fast and since it was an expensive mirror, they went above and beyond making sure it was packed securely enough for international travel. Doubling up on the packing from the manufacturer. It even had multiple cases of tshirts fall on top of it on the delivery truck stateside and no damage was done. Thanks MyUKMailbox

Ridiculously expensive

Ridiculously expensive, for the type and size/weight of product I ordered (model railway parts in an envelope) I feel like I overpaid extensively. There are sellers on eBay that I found out later with 11$ shipping +import tax without having to pay vat due to shipping to a uk address to start. Not very impressed.

As a parcel forwarding service, our fees cover more than postage alone. They include receiving your parcel at our warehouse, processing and storing it, picking your order, packaging it safely and then shipping it. Because of that, our pricing is not a like for like comparison with a seller’s postage charge on marketplaces such as eBay. However, we are continually reviewing our rates to ensure we remain competitive.

For smaller and lighter parcels of lower value, such as model railway parts, we also offer Royal Mail alongside other couriers which can be a more economical option. To help plan costs and be as transparent as possible, we list all of our fees clearly and provide a shipping calculator on our pricing page so you can estimate postage costs and see available carriers before ordering anything to your suite.
