They sent me a letter claiming to be interested in the house but looking at these reviews, I don't trust the 5* ones and the real reviews say they will offer 85%. No thank you.

Do not use
If you don't want low reviews STOP sending unsolicited letters to people whose home isn't even for sale. To me YOU are choosing to engage by using this tactic whether auto generated or not. Really unprofessional & a deterrent to potential customers . Just a case of sending a huge volume of unwanted letters to estates where there are a few properties for sale & hoping something sticks. Others say similar but you're not really learning from.it just giving passive aggressive follow up replies.

Beside moral considerations...
I received a letter regarding the sale of my house. I called to try and understand if it was a fraud attempt. In my opinion, following the phone call and further (though brief) investigations after the call, they seem to be a legitimate business looking for people in a hurry to sell in order to offer a price below market value. A business that, unfortunately, reflects the times we live in.
My 5-star rating reflects the transparency and kindness of the person I spoke with. I leave the moral judgment to each individual reader of my comment.

Received an unsolicted letter and after reading the reviews there are far too many red flags for me to even consider this company! Clearly trying to rip people off who are vulnerable during times when the economy is not in a good place
In my view this company clearly lacks any integrity and even if I was desperate I would refuse to use them purley out of principle!

Just to echo what Cranleigh Mum wrote in August 2023: according to its most recent Companies House accounts, the firm has £2.00. Not sure how that relates to the 'substantial cash funds available' in the letter they sent me in August 2024.
Update: Thanks to National Homebuyers for their reply.
I'm not sure why National Homebuyers (NH) would be surprised that people read Trustpilot reviews, especially when selling something as big as a house! But I took NH's (slightly contrary) advice and did some more research.
According to its letter head, Momentum Asset Management (MAM) trades as National Homebuyers. Both companies are listed on the Companies House website. Both share the same address and director. NH appears to have £2 but MAM more. Not sure if it amounts to the "substantial cash funds" referred to in NH's letter to me but there you go.
I also took a look at the review of NH/MAM on the Property Sale Watchdog site. Property Sale Watchdog also read the reviews on Trustpilot, the Companies House accounts, the housing regulatory bodies' websites, etc. and did their own analysis. They offer a comprehensive and balanced view of why one might/might not use the services of this company (and similar ones) and it's far more authoritative than mine.
