Great centre and friendly staff

The Mornington centre has a great layout with security and cleanliness both held to a very high standard.
I was most impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the manager Todd who took the time to show me around and had an answer to all of my questions.
There was no need to look any further for my storage needs.
Would highly recommend.

Good storage and lovely staff

I have rented out two storage units, one in Clayton and the other in Rowville since April 2020. The staff in both areas have been very helpful, courteous and easy to deal with. Sheridan Dirckze in particular was very helpful when I initially rented out the Clayton storage unit and continued to be very helpful over the past nine months. Since I needed to move all my items to a larger unit in Clayton, Sheridan and Scott were very helpful in securing one for me. I have to also mention other staff such as Takiana (Clayton), Alan, Sharleen and Meagan (Rowville) have always been helpful. Finally, I find the storage units are clean, easy access and reasonably priced. Thank you. K

I came this earlier this afternoon to…

I came this earlier this afternoon to pick up my parcel that got redirected to this storage facility (I didn’t realise how big storage was). As I waited in the office I couldn’t help but observe the customer service that was provided to the man before me by the two young staff members working. I was approached by the young man and he apologised because he was new and needed the computer that the young lady was on. Once they were finished the young lady who was very polite helped me out as much as she could as we had a small issue with the parcel. It’s very rare to see this kind of service from young adults there days. Please pass my review onto the staff there as they should be proud of themselves.
This store was National Storage Rowville. Apologies for not mentioning.

Posting again as I contacted the centre regarding my parcel and they advised that they haven’t received this great feedback but the young lady Sheridan advised that the centre will receive this in the next few days.

Thank you!

Thank you! Our business has been storing with Nationalstorage in Mornington, Hobart for nearly 10 years now. The service provided has consistently been exceptional. The team is super helpful and they do what they can do to help their customers.
They do not only offer storage services but a whole range of other services if required including office & meeting space for rent as well as basic packaging and warehousing services. I love the kitchen and the free coffee provided.

Dylan at National Storage, Kelvin Grove has been a star. He's been prompt, efficient, helpful, and friendly during every interaction and has gone above and beyond to make my experience moving and storing my household items from interstate totally seamless and pain-free, and during a stressful pandemic year! Bad Experience. Rude Staff

Surprised to see so many good reviews. The lady at Collingwood (VIC) reception was so rude (around 12.50pm on 19th Dec). We wanted to know how to use this service to send some boxes for our friend who is a member.
She didn’t want to explain and said it’s better to use AusPost.

She was very friendly to the lady before me. So not sure why we were treated this bad. Hopefully my skin color isn’t repelling her :(

This is a greedy avaricious company

This is a greedy avaricious company , frequent rent increases , usually above CPI , and an incompetent workforce .
They used to send a reminder to pay the usurious storage fees , they now send an $11.00 late payment fee instead .
Artarmon used to be owned and managed by Spare Rooms , and it worked plus the storage rates were fair , the staff fair and competent .
That died the day National Storage took over .

Exceptional service at National Storage…

Exceptional service at National Storage Kelvin Grove. Dylan especially was a dream to deal with, nothing was too much trouble with accomodating my requirements. I was so impressed with the new facilities and actual storage space which suited my needs perfectly.

Harsh late fees and no empathy

I was sent an invoice via email with 14 day payment terms; a few days later I was contacted by letter saying that a $11 late fee would be applied. Absolutely deplorable! They don't even give you time to pay at Port Adelaide storage facility....I can provide emails and correspondence to prove my case.

These people have been amazing

These people have been amazing.

I've had my stuff with them for some years. What makes them amazing is they are incredibly empathetic and patient to the traumas of being separated from your personal belongings, which obviously comes with their professional skill and experience.

Each time, every staff member has been helpful, pleasant, professional and just fantastic. Thanks to the staff at National Storage, and thanks Chris, you all made the journey easier :)

National storage in Clayton are…

National storage in Clayton are horrible. Theyre customer service is extremely poor to non-existant.

Just this month they debited my ctedit card without authorization bringing their business practices into the realm of illegal fraudulant activity.

Had they just called they might get permission but how dare you debit my card without authorization!!

National Storage in Mitchel is a rip…

National Storage in Mitchel is a rip off merchant. I am paying $277 per month for a small space which is extremely high. I use to pay for a similar space in Sydney half the price. In March they deducted three payment from my account which I have been disputing for nearly 6 months but they refuse to refund my money back instead they are charging late fee for April 2020 account which I disputed. They have been charging interest and late fee for the disputed overpaid amount. Saying that I now owed them $390. In spite they have been taking funds from my account every month since last week. The manager Genevieve is not very professional manager she is rude and have caused me so much stressed and my blood pressure has gone high due to this. I would never recommend anyone to rent a storage in Mitchel. Even during the COVID time they have no sympathy towards customers. They are money hunger people who like to steal from vulnerable people. Overall I score them O for their customer service and ripping off money for their so called management bonuses.

Not happy

thought they were playing then end when they were taking out money and is given up the storage and this money was for something else well it's been well over a month it was sorted two weeks into this month I was Informed I'd be honoured this back to my account and well after a fortnight if this info I have still not been honoured this back to bank it's utterly terrible quick to take but not quick to honour it back to my bank account

Terrible company

Terrible company, way overpriced for what they are. Frequent rental increases and not always just $5 extra. Every time I go to my unit the alarm goes off. Poor service and poor quality. Staff can't string together an email properly. I provide notice of intention to vacate and then promptly get sent through an email as if I'm starting up again. Why are you sending me an email telling me my agreement is ready to sign when I'm cancelling? Not to mention when I do click on the link it actually takes me to a move out notice form... A little bit unprofessional when staff can't even check emails before they send them.
