My first appointment was at home and my husband was advised that the windscreen could not be repaired, despite submitting detailed photos. I made an second appointment and was require to pay another £110 for the whole windscreen requiring replacing, and was advised I had to take it to the local branch to have the screen done. I then received a plethora of confirmation texts regarding the appointment, all of them telling me that the appointment would be carried out at my home, right up until the night before. On the morning of my afternoon appointment, I attempted to contact the branch by phone, but my call just remained unanswered. I took my car to the branch in the afternoon, to be told I had no appointment that day and it was booked for the following Tuesday. After I pointed out that this was not possible, as I had made this appointment in person and had purposely not chosen a Tuesday as both myself and my husband work and would not be able to bring the car that day. Eventually the person I was speaking too admitted that they had re booked the appointment that appointment as they had sent the person due to do the work home as they were ill. Apparently I had been sent a text. I did then check and found I had been sent this, but it had 5 texts confirming the original appointment, one of them 20 minutes before the unseen re booking text. A phone call would have been more appropriate at this late stage and certainly better customer service. Only when I drove away to I find that a cheaper mirror that was smaller than my original and not like the Skoda official mirror, had been installed. I had not been warned that this would be the place.

I have mixed feelings about my experience. On one hand, the quality of the final installation was excellent and I’m very pleased with the workmanship. On the other, the scheduling was frustrating. Despite the replacement glass arriving within 2–3 days, the earliest installation slot wasn’t for over two weeks. This left me driving around with a temporary polythene fix for much longer than expected. Great end result, but the turnaround time needs improvement.

I was extremely stressed when I arrived as I was late having been let down by my original recovery service. I'd called as soon as I knew there was a problem and ended up speaking to someone at Head Office I guess, who was also lovely. Said he would call the branch on my behalf and let them know I had a problem. When I arrived they started on my car straightaway, no huffing and puffing about me being late. I was made a lovely cup of coffee and before I knew it my car was ready for me to drive away. I was given aftercare instructions and told I could contact them directly if I had issues. Great service, thank you.

Use a clean cloth to clean the new screen.
Be more transparent with time. I know you said you want the car for 4 hours but the job wasn't started for 2 hours. Its a taxi and I missed the whole morning. Booked it in for 8am.
CCTV was hanging off when I picked the car up. Both cameras are alot lighter than a mirror so couldn't understand why the pads weren't holding.
Really not that happy.

The windscreen replacement appears satisfactory however disappointed with the length of time it took to be replaced. Contacted 29th January, advised earliest appointment 11th February, when operative arrived he said he was unaware car was a convertible so work had to done in branch. Next available appointment 20th Feb. Windscreen break too bad to safely drive the car so in effect vehicle out of action for over 3 weeks.

She worked meticulously to change the windscreen and completed the job in just over two hours. The car was left clean and tidy, and they had also recalibrate the lane assist function. While we were waiting a gentleman (?Manager) made us a hot drink which was much appreciated.
