I booked my MOT for the day after the screen replacement was booked but the screen was delayed until the next day. The person who rang promised to get me in as first job which would have just left time for the glue to set and get to the MOT centre but when the reminder came it said the screen could be any time that day so I re-booked the MOT for the next slot which was a week later. As it turned out the screen was fitted in time for the original MOT appointment but the reminder made me unsure. Last time I had a screen replaced it was delayed and I failed the MOT so I didn't want to risk it again. Sending out "generic" reminders is ok but if it contradicts your promises it doesn't give me much faith in getting the job done to a deadline.

Once it was established that my windscreen could not be replaced at my home the service was excellent - the job was done in less than the time quoted - and I also received a cup of coffee in warm comfortable surroundings while I waited - Thank you.

Booking process was nice and easy as was paying for the windscreen.
Dropped my car off with no issue the member of staff I dealt with when dropping it off let me drop it off just before 8:30.
However when I went to collect my car there was 5 members of staff all sat at their desks talking amongst themselves and I was stood waiting for around 10 minutes before someone actually came to the front desk to ask any details

Turned up at the time given & the work was done within 15 minutes (chip within screen )

The Tech was very good, friendly and knowledgeable. She explained everything clearly and got on with it.

My Insurance was with Hastings Direct and I booked a replacement through them. National Windscreens had a seamless online booking process with the earliest data available less than a week away.

Once booked, I received a call back confirming details for the windscreen replacement. On the day I had easy drop-off in the morning and a call to pick-up once the replacement was done.

The fitter attended and completed the work in good time.

She was very polite, efficient and explained what was taking place.

technician did not turn up on the first appointment they told me it was running where I am and yet it was dry and partly sunny . Then I was promiseed someone will get in touch no body did I spoke to the office I spoke to the call center several times to no avial.

At the end I spoke to the manager who sorted things out the same day.

The technician explained the procedure to repair the windshield and stated that it is not likely to work. The screen still bears the same small star shape pattern of the original chip. Likely the screen will need to be replacing before the next MOT
