Stone chip repair. I've had many repaired over the years and of a far better quality than this. It's 'holding' but only just.

Soooooooo very happy with the repair they did to my car’s windscreen. I forget the technician’s name but he was extremely polite, and extremely professional. You cannot see the repair, it is literally invisible. Couldn’t be happier with the entire experience.

Where do I start , this has become a nightmare for us , our Discovery was a one owner car was completely pampered before we got it from a rather famous Auction Company , even can with its own bespoke fur lined cover , and only used at weekends .
So we were very upset when a stone cracked the windscreen which was a original Land Rover fitted , so National Windscreens was sent by our insurance company to replace it , so 2 young lads arrived and immediately start removing the bonnet , which didn't seem really necessary but , he said it was easier , so then he calls me out as now the skuttle trim is apparently broken! And its had a screen before he says , so I point out that its a OEM screen fitted , so unless Land Rover did it how could that be , to which he had no reply , so they continued with the job , next he calls me out , as now both side trims on the A pillars have broken off , and again he tried to say these were broken already , then I pointed out that the plastic clips holding the to the metal securing clips are all fresh breaks , and that if he had removed them correctly it wouldn't of happened , he then starts getting irate with us saying we are blaming him for deliberately damaging the vehicle , at this point I started recording him as things where escalating and I wanted a record if it as I could see where all this was going , he eventually calmed down , and did say it was an accidentally damaged which is what I was trying to say to him , it wasn't his fault , but I just wanted to make sure the damaged parts would be replaced.
They continued with the job , now he pointed out a small amount of surface rust on the top middle point of the roof , he said it would be treated and shouldn't cause any issues , they continued with the job , and in the end I had to help fit my bonnet back on as the 2 were struggling , he got thenbolts started then someone arrived at my door so I left them to it , finally they finished said the trims will be ordered , and let it for a couple of hours , but I wasn't going anywhere till the next day , so in the morning I come out and it was the first little bit of rain after those hot days , so myself and my daughter get in , and I go to adjust the rear view mirror and it comes off in my hand , not a great start , then I see water had been running down the middle of the windscreen on the inside and down behind the dash now even worse , I then thought I better check the bonnet , it was completely out down in one corner and gaps miles out down the wings , so first of all we put in a complaint email on there site , nothing for 2 days , so I ring the National number explain we are cancelling our payment , with an hour we had a booking for a second visit , they arrive , fit a second screen fix the rear view mirror and sort the leak , all good or so we thought , first of all we are out and I tried to use the washer to clean the screen , nothing I can hear the pump going but no water , I keep doing it to see if it will come through , then all of a sudden lots of smoke from under the bonnet , so we pull over to see I lift the bonnet which is still out of line , and the engine bay is covered in water , they hadn't reconnected the pipe for the washers to the bonnet!! So fitted the pipe did the best to dry out the engine bay and continued , when home I realigned the bonnet then found scratches to the top of the wing as they don't use wing covers , and the slam panel cover , where the bonnet stay had just been dragged across .
So another complaint goes in they are looking into it and we are still waiting for our trims to be fitted , now in the mean time I was up at 4am as I had an early start , there was a cold mist on the screen , so I put on the heated windscreen , light comes on but no elements heated up to clear it , so another problem , and all this time we keep them informed of issues all we get back is "well how do you know its not working" like we are making things up , all we wanted was the car back to the way it was before all this started , so finally the trims arrived another visit , older chap this time so have abit of hope , he fits the trims , says he tried the screen and the light works , yes but doesn't mean its heating the screen just power to the switch ! So no real headway there just that it may need to go to their depot , so this is number 3 and still not resolved , then his van won't start we tried helping buy using our jump pack to no avail , so we are blocked in for an hour or so while he waits for recovery. I then go out again to check over the new trims and check the windscreen , when I find holes in each top corner of the screen , where the weather strip should seal against the roof and drip rails down the side of the car , so we immediately take pictures and forward them asking for this to be repaired as it'll let water into the car , so now this week we have had rain the top corners of the screen are soaking inside including the head lining , which is now water marked and ruined . I can't finish as no room left , avoid them!!!!!

The person who got sent out to fix the crack in my windscreen was incredibly lovely and even went out of his way to fix some of the sealant someone else had done a dodgy job of. 10/10 service.

Scott finished the job and as best he could, he cleared the mess that had been created when the back window was smashed. He gave advice about when it could be cleaned and washed and advised how to get off the glue residue from the tape on tarpaulin covering the broken glass.
Messages to advise me when he was arriving and the time he would take helped me get on with my day and not worry about missing him and having to book again. The car was on the road in my home location so he worked in the space he had - on a bend in the road although in a parking space.
He did an excellent job and it was good to feel that the car was safe to drive again
