1st chip repair was not completed properly therefore 10 weeks later needed a full windscreen

The windscreen fitted to my car is not…
The windscreen fitted to my car is not a genuine Ford screen and the heating elements are really obvious, they also don’t go all the way to the edge of the glass which leaves an area that doesn’t clear properly. I called to explain this and was just told that I should have asked for a genuine one before it was fitted. I wasn’t told this by National windscreens prior to it being fitted.
Im now stuck with a windscreen that is not genuine and the heating function no longer works as it did with the genuine windscreen. A professional company should inform the clients of this before fitting and be given the option of what they’d like, not fob the client off by blaming the insurance company. Not very professional and I wouldn’t recommend people.

I’ve experienced poor communication and…
I’ve experienced poor communication and service fro this company.
Having booked two vehicles for repair and replacement, no call for ETA then turned up Without equipment to carry out work requested.
Was told depot would contact to reschedule work with no contact.
I had to contact to rebook work required.
New windscreen still hasn’t been replaced as yet, hopefully next week!
I should have given Gavin at autoglass a call but my insurance required National Windscreen
Carry out the work. Such poor service!!
