Everytime I have a bath I feel unhappy
We bought these tiles in Hove before moving down to Devon. We initially had a full discussion with Nalan and Reis who were helpful in talking us through how the tiles we had chosen were to be laid as an Opus pattern - both what that meant and what it would look like. And we were clear in explaining to them what we were purchasing them for - as wall and floor tiles in our new bathroom. They supplied us with an 'end of line' at a discounted in price. However we were not made aware at the time of placing our order (for 22 sq metres) that they would be supplied in completely the wrong proportions. For instance,we only received a total of nine 200cm x 400cm tiles! Plus they were all wrongly cut-to-size according to their own specifications. So even if we had received the tiles in the correct proportions, they could not have been laid in the Opus pattern. After our many attempts at calling them and subsequent lengthy emails, they finally said we could return them. But by then this was not an option - our bathromm fitters had assigned us a certain window for the job and were not able to work with the anticipated delay this would have entailed. We asked for a partial refund (to compensate for our disappointment) and they refused. The bathroom fitters managed to do the best job they could given the circumstances. Everytime I have a bath I feel unhappy.
