You mention that we are trying to “silence” your review, yet as you can see, your feedback is publicly visible and has not been removed for both of your reviews. Transparency is something we fully support, even when the feedback is negative.

You also refer to other 1-star reviews, but at the same time, more than 80% of our customers report a positive experience. That doesn’t mean every situation will be perfect—but it does suggest that the vast majority of customers receive both the product quality and support they expect.

Regarding your case specifically, our warranty covers manufacturing defects. It does not extend to situations that fall outside of product-related issues. While we always aim to help where possible, we cannot approve requests that are not aligned with these conditions.

We understand that this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, but it would not be fair to other customers if we applied our policies inconsistently.

A return request for the unworn pair was approved and refunded promptly

As stated on our product pages, our winter models are water-resistant, not fully waterproof. Under prolonged exposure to heavy rain or saturated conditions, moisture ingress can occur — this is standard across most barefoot footwear due to their flexible, breathable construction.

First, your refund was processed directly by us, not by PayPal. Had this not been the case, the PayPal dispute would have been decided differently. We always handle valid refund requests in accordance with our procedures.

Second, our policies are fully compliant with applicable consumer laws. Suggesting otherwise is incorrect. We take legal compliance and customer protection very seriously.

Regarding your order, the item purchased was part of our clearance collection, which follows a different return procedure. This is clearly stated both in our Terms & Conditions and directly at checkout before purchase is completed.

We are sorry to hear about your experience. At Naturcontact, all of our products undergo strict quality control procedures before leaving our factory to ensure they meet our durability and performance standards. Issues such as the upper separating from the sole are extremely rare.

In your case, we also provided an additional pair after your first report in order to assist you. Experiencing the same issue with two different pairs is highly unusual, which may indicate that the shoes were exposed to particular usage conditions that can affect the bonding between the sole and upper.

Our footwear is designed for everyday and outdoor use, but certain factors (such as excessive moisture exposure, intensive terrain conditions, or other external elements) can influence the lifespan of the materials.
