This is a commercial insurance brokerage do NOT let the team in personal lines touch your policy. I have had my business insurance with them for years but after 2 months dealing with the personal department ((After YEARS of pestering)) I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Commercial business and all. 10 days just to hear back on a simple vehicle addition. What a JOKE.
Two years ago I moved from my long-term broker to The Insurance Store, since taken over by Navacord as they are local to my home. I provided full disclosure about the drivers of my cars. I submitted images of drivers licenses as proof as well as email identifying my daughter and where her home is. The car was damaged by mice and long story short, the insurance company tried to deny the claim stating that my daughter was not covered. Navacord, in spite of all the proof I was able to provide, would not come to my defence and I was left to battle with Wawanesa for the claim to be approved. I won but it took months of emails, phone calls, arguing, etc. I’m disgusted by the treatment received by Navacord. I would not recommend them under any circumstances.
