Have been very impressed with my son's A level biology course so far. The materials are very clear and well set out and most importantly he is very engaged and motivated.

Really good explanations on lessons given, and amazing tutor feedback. One thing I would have liked was a more structured lesson that relies less on the workbook, or uses it to compliment a lesson!

I’m currently studying the A-Level fast tracked course in Biology and so far so good! NEC have provided me with sufficient information to get the best out of my course, as well as being able to contact tutors and other course members if you ever need any help!

The NEC's review of my Personal Statement was outstanding. The review was completed within a few days of my request. It was both comprehensive and inciteful, providing excellent points of refinement for my final UCAS submission

The whole process of buying a course was very simple. I was able to read all about it on line and then helpful telephone staff were able to answer my many questions.

Superb organisation from signing up to getting results. High quality resources with well linked assignments - I have done distance learning where assignments and materials bear little in common . Rapid , quality feedback from tutors. Good grade at end of course .

This was my first distanced learning course and I would use them again or recommend.

Firstly, the online NEC platform is clear and uncomplicated and keeps your interest, you can keep a blog of your own learning diary and liase with fellow students. This is optional, I did use it and when I asked any questions which I needed support with I got replies usually the same day.

My tutor was of a very high level and she supported me throughout, even with small areas of concern.

As for the modules, I chose to print out each one (only because I can only stare at a screen for so long) and they are easy to follow with excellent web links for online knowledge and tutoring. Also new words were easily remembered by the end of topic glossary at the back of each module.

If you want to really understand your subject, even from scratch, this online learning is for you, superb.

I started my iGCSE biology with hardly any knowledge of the subject. I expected to study for 18 months as I am At university as well and work full time. I was entered at an NEC exam centre and because of covid this year decided on an assessment grade. The college kept me informed every step of the way as and when government decisions were being made.

NEC is a very organised and professional educational provider, even with the covid curve ball I received an 8 grade. It has given me confidence to study again with NEC as I know I will be fully supported, no matter what the future holds.

There are cheaper providers, but not sure if I would have the same assurance, study format or support. So important.

I am happy with the course so far and the content of the course. I have submitted an assignment and found the process easy and convenient to submit. I sometimes wonder how I'm doing and would like some more feedback or encouragement from my tutor but otherwise great!!

I'm glad I studied for my iGCSE Biology with NEC. From the comprehensive course notes to the interaction with my tutor, it has been a positive experience.

Excellent distance learning college with very good learning materials that are clear, concise and a pleasure to use. All the support from NEC is of a high standard and the tutors are very good at responding to queries. I would recommend this college for all aspiring candidates who want to further their education

NEC is a great system for online learning, it gives you a detailed knowledge on your chosen subject. My only request is that there was more contact with your tutors and that they kept asking for updates to keep us motivated to work.

I’m studying an A Level with NEC for my own interest and I’m finding the materials, the support, the forums, and the overall site, of a very high standard. The teaching blocks are well produced with lots of activities and guided learning and there’s ancillary information if you want to take topics further. I am very satisfied.

I had an amazing experience with this provider. Supported with a personal tutor, swift feedback, excellent resources. Massively recommend. I'm now studying the university course that will hopefully lead to my dream career.

As a mature student I took 2 GCSE's - Maths and Astronomy. I found the course material in depth and well written and my tutors were knowledgeable and helpful. It was a very positive experience all round and I would happily do another course with them.
