I placed an order for mattress and pillows.. Pillow quality is so bad that it gave me neck pain for 2weeks.. it says memory foam but no its not memory foam guyz please donot get in trap of buying pillows from them

Becomes unbearable after 2 years

I was happy with my mattress at first but two years in, it's completely dented on the side I typically sleep on, so much so that sleeping on the other side isn't even an option as it feels like I'm being pulled by the dented side. It's causing me some lower back pain now and while going to bed was my favourite thing, I actually dread it now. I'm so disapppointed and I didn't want to be paying for a mattress again so soon.

STAY CLEAR unless you don't mind having constant backache!!!

I have had this mattress for a while now and I have to say I am extremely disappointed with it.
At first the mattress was perfect arrived nicely packaged etc
But within a year it began to have a permanent dip right in the centre of the mattress, it has affected myself and my husband's back and hips to no end. We had someone from nectar come out and look over the mattress but it was deemed that it hadn't dipped enough for a replacement or any kind of compensation. It is honestly the worst mattress we have ever had & will never be buying from this company again. I will continue to tell people how terrible the mattresses are and to stay clear, save your money and go elsewhere! Honestly it's REALLY NOT WORTH THE BACKACHE literally!!!
Also the cover over the mattress is poorly made and the stitching tore about 6 months into having it.

Bought a mattress from Nectar

Bought a mattress from Nectar
Told it had a no quibble guarantee if your not happy money back lifetime guarantee!!
Brilliant.

Mattress delivered
Perfect
Within weeks could not sleep mattress so hard.
Contacted nectar
Mattress topper sent.

Mattress still so hard can not sleep with the firmness.

Sent an engineer who agreed it’s far to firm and sent us a new mattress.
Great really happy.

New mattress delivered
Old mattress sat outside days and days waiting to be collected.

Was told it would be collected was not.

Around a week later it got collected.

Now the issue is we have a new mattress
So hard you can’t actually sleep on it.

My wife’s receiving care from the GP due to this mattress.
No previous back issues until we got a nectar mattress.

My wife now has to sleep separate with me otherwise she has to have hot water bottles in bed to help her back.

Nothing they can do as we have had another mattress and now there guarantee does not stand.

We were told none of this.
Nothing.

Money grabbers that’s what they are.

So now we have a mattress that’s no good.

I have to buy a new one and then pay someone to take nectars dodgy mattress away.

STAY AWAY FROM NECTAR

They don’t value there customers
They want your money that’s it
They don’t care if you have a medical condition caused by there product.

I wish I would have checked the reviews there’s 100s similar.

There guarantee is worth nothing

We have had our nectar mattress for 2/3…

We have had our nectar mattress for 2/3 years. It has started to sag in the middle, I have reported it and a technician came out to have a look.

This was part of the reply.

"After reviewing the inspection report produced by the Emmiera inspection engineer, your mattress has been deemed as not faulty. Due to this outcome of the report we will be unable to offer to replace your mattress as no fault has been found during this inspection."

Because off a small coffee stain on the mattress there was no claim on there Forever Warranty, the impression in the mattress was due to settlement.?

I find this totally unacceptable from Nectar and will not buy anything else from them.

Had mattress for 4 years

Had mattress for 4 years. Being thrown out because it's rubbish. Sunk side I sleep on. Engineer blamed it on the frame and the length of the slats ( don't tell you that on the website do they when ordering ) so nectar wouldn't change it . Just want your money. So much for a 10 year guarantee. Go somewhere else. If I lived closer to the head office I'd dump it on the company's car park if I could.

Stinks

The classic memory foam mattress smells so bad, I let it air for 24 hours then I had to sleep on it as I don't have a spare mattress I bought it because I needed it. The smell is awful, it's soaked through a waterproof mattress protector, another mattress protector, sheets, duvet, and top blanket, and makes me stink when I sleep on it. Don't buy it. It's also not medium-firm as it states, it sinks so much I struggle to get out of it. Don't buy it. I wish I could've found an honest review before I bought it. Now I get to smell like a weird chemical fish smell everyday for who knows how long, unless I choose to get another mattress. I can't even try to return the nectar mattress until I've had it for a month. Why they don't infuse all foam used for mattresses with activated charcoal to absorb the VOC smells from the foam idk, probably greed.

Extremely disappointing experience with Nectar Sleep.

I decided to purchase from Nectar after seeing an advertised 11% discount via Blue Light Card. The offer was clearly promoted and influenced my decision to buy. However, when I tried to use the discount, it wasn’t honoured.

After contacting Nectar about it, they refused to apply the advertised 11% discount. Instead, they initially offered £25 off. When I explained that I simply wanted the 11% discount that had been promoted, they then reduced their offer even further to just 2%, which is actually less than the original £25 they suggested.

This feels very misleading. Advertising a higher discount and then negotiating down to something significantly smaller undermines trust. Customers should be able to rely on advertised offers being honoured without having to chase or argue for them.

I hope Nectar Sleep improves transparency around promotions and ensures that advertised discounts are honoured in future. I would not recommend the company to friends or family and I certainly won’t be continuing with a purchase from this company.

Sent wrong bed then told we had to pay for it!

We are extremely disappointed with how our recent Nectar purchase has been handled, and we are hoping someone at the corporate level will review this and make it right.
We ordered the Nectar Ultra mattress after speaking directly with a Nectar sales representative. Amy specifically asked about the differences between the Premier and the Ultra because we were purchasing this mattress for medical reasons — fibromyalgia and significant back pain. The representative explained that we could use the Premier adjustable base but upgrade to the Ultra mattress for better support. She built the cart for us. We did not manually add items ourselves.
Based on her guidance, we completed the purchase.
Instead of receiving the Ultra mattress we discussed and agreed upon, Nectar delivered the Premier mattress.
We contacted customer service immediately. The mattress had only been in our home a matter of days. There was no damage, no misuse, no extended trial. We simply informed them that the wrong model was delivered and requested an exchange for the Ultra we ordered.
The response we received was shocking.
We were told that in order to receive the Ultra mattress, we would first have to pay off the entire balance of the Premier mattress that was mistakenly shipped to us. Only after paying off the wrong mattress would they arrange to pick it up and allow us to purchase the correct one.
We are not asking for a refund.
We are not trying to “return” the mattress under the 365-night trial.
We are not experiencing buyer’s remorse.
This is not a satisfaction issue. This is a sales and fulfillment error.
Being told to activate a 365-night satisfaction guarantee in order to correct Nectar’s own mistake makes absolutely no sense. The trial policy is designed for customers who change their minds after sleeping on the mattress. That is not what happened here.
We relied on the guidance of a Nectar representative. She built the cart. We trusted the process. We paid for what we believed was the Ultra mattress.
If there was a mistake in how the order was processed, that responsibility should not fall on the customer to financially absorb first.
Requiring customers to pay off a product they did not intend to purchase before correcting an internal error is unreasonable and deeply disappointing. It creates unnecessary stress, especially when the purchase was made with medical comfort needs in mind.
We are simply asking for what we originally ordered.
We expect Nectar to stand behind its sales representatives, take responsibility for this fulfillment mistake, and arrange a proper exchange without forcing us to pay for an error that was not ours.
A company’s integrity is revealed when something goes wrong. We hope Nectar chooses to correct this properly.

It was a good price compared to similar…

It was a good price compared to similar mattresses. It was delivered on time, with lots of communication about when it will arrive.

The mattress itself is very comfortable, nice a firm and supportive. It was ready to sleep on very quickly, expanding to its full size within a couple of hours.

I haven't had to use the 365 day option yet, or the lifetime guarantee yet, and hope I won't have to if the mattress keeps its integrity.

We love our new king sized mattress

We love our new king sized mattress - we loved our old one and were nervous about replacing it, especially without trying the options first. We read all the reviews and took cost into account too and nectar hit the sweet spot. The mattress came on time and after the first few days after the smell dissipated (it’s wasn’t bad) we really settled into it and found our sleep has greatly improved.

Bought mattress from nectar sleep and was amazing for the first year then a dip appeared, meaning you could feel the bed slates while sleeping. Dispute numerous home visits and conversations with nectar it’s deemed it wasn’t enough of a dip
In the mattress so wasn’t covered under the lifetime guarantee. Might as well not have that included. Expensive mattress for it to only last just over a year which is a shame because was so comfy to begin with.
Terrible customer service. Wouldn’t recommend and certainly wouldn’t buy from this company again in the future

Broke down my front door costing £3k in damage, attacked me and then tried to get to my wife and Grand kids they only ran off like cowards when the police was called, Nectar Sleep are fully aware of this and still employ them to deliver their shoddy goods
They have done nothing to stop these foreign violent thugs who can hardly speak English, the is another review I read on here on Trustpilot where these violent criminals ransacked a single mothers home and threatened to kidnap her young child

Forever Warranty is not what you’d expect

I bought a Nectar mattress in September 2021 for around £700, partly because of the advertised “Forever Warranty.”

After about 4.5 years, the mattress developed a noticeable one-sided dip that caused ongoing back discomfort. Nectar arranged an independent inspection, which confirmed measurable settlement (2 cm). However, this was deemed “within manufacturing tolerance,” so no replacement, refund, or even goodwill discount was offered.

Customer service was polite and responsive throughout, but the outcome was effectively that a mattress causing back issues is considered acceptable as long as it doesn’t exceed an internal sag threshold. Comfort, health impact, and real-world usability were not taken into account once the mattress was deemed “within spec.”

This ended up being £700 wasted, as I now have to dispose of the mattress and replace it elsewhere to avoid further back problems. The process was professional, but the warranty offers far less practical protection than the marketing suggests.

If long-term support and back health matter to you, be aware that “Forever Warranty” does not mean the mattress will actually be replaced when it stops being comfortable.

Be very careful opening the mattress.

Everything went well except opening the mattress plastic wrapping the special "knife" provide still managed to make a small cut in the bottom fabric of the mattress despite trying hard to be careful.

Despite that it has not affected the excellent sleep the mattress gives me and that is the most important fact.

had our mattress for 18 months dipped…

had our mattress for 18 months dipped both sides wouldn’t support an egg worst pile of rubbish i have ever wasted money on after reading the reviews and experiences of people trying to get them to sort mattress out and being fobed off with pitafull excuses didn’t bother so i have brought another mattress from bensons and would definitely advise people to think before ordering this junk i have never had a mattress that i would say worst sleep or support ever response is pretty much the same to everyone who complains avoid nectar save your money
