I specifically asked before buying if the mattress has side handles to help move the mattress and was told it did, but on arrival, it didnt. As I am disabled this was a problem. Nectar did give me a £50 reduction but its proving difficult as I have to get someone to help me which isnt always easy. The mattress is comfortable, possibly a bit softer than I thought it would be but a vast improvement.

Changed from the cheaper memory foam as recommended by Nectar stating it would be more suitable for me to the more expensive hybrid one as it was to soft but the hybrid is not suitable either as i have two very damaged vertebrae's i first thought i need to give it a try but after a long time trying it has to go as it dips to much and i cant turn due to my back so basically i wake every day in excruciating pain after having the mattress checked by some technician who claims there is nothing wrong although the dip where we sleep is clearly visible well i requested my money back i am hoping to get a refund so if you have back problems i would not recommend this item

Reasons NOT TO BUY a Nectar Mattress. When things go wrong their CS are hopeless!
1 - new mattress, 6’ superking was initially fine but became faulty - verified by there chosen firm of furniture engineers - we had to wait a month for an appointment!!
2 - their engineer advised us the mattress was faulty. Good news we thought - but no contact from Nectar, so after 10days I made contact and requested a refund (preferred). I have no faith a replacement will be better given its the same mattress sold originally and manufactured exactly the same. Nectar rejected my request.
3 - Nectar CS offered a replacement (per consumer law). I was explicit that my wife and I no longer wish to sleep on their product, but offered a solution to put a replacement Nectar mattress in our spare room as this has occasional use - but our spare room has a smaller (cheaper) king size bed - good news you would think for Nectar as it will be reduced cost for them to provide and ship.
No absolutely not - silly me!! after 6 emails and another week of back’n’forth (still with a rubbish mattress) their CS repeatedly insist they can only provide a Superking (they did offer a higher spec superking) but clearly do not listen to their customers or care about resolving their faulty product promptly!
So now I believe they are being unreasonable and think about going to the Ombudsman for common sense help - BUT NO Nectar are not part of or subscribe to the Furniture Ombudsman and now I can guess why!! No oversight whatsoever.
We measure a company by how they perform when something goes wrong - NECTAR FAILED, their CS could have made a positive impact BUT NO, their CS team are hopeless and unreasonable.
So now I wish to warn other potential customers with this detailed review of our poor experience.

Well after 9 months it was a not for us!
I am however giving Nectar 4 stars 🌟
The mattress started off so comfortable but after 6 months it just didn’t feel the same . We bought different toppers but no good .
I contacted Nectar and after offering another topper ( declined as had tried ) we asked it to be returned . It has been collected today after 2 days and I have been advised I will get a full refund shortly. I think the overall experience had been brilliant and thank goodness for 365 day trial .
Such a shame but don’t let it put you off as I am sure many people find it a perfect.

Disappointed – Lifetime Guarantee is Misleading
I purchased a Nectar mattress based on their bold “lifetime guarantee” promise, but I now realise it’s more of a marketing gimmick than real consumer protection.
Here’s the truth: they won’t replace your mattress unless it dips more than 45mm (about 1.75 inches) without any weight on it. That’s ridiculous. My mattress dips over 50mm when I lie on it – which causes serious back pain – but the moment I get up, it rebounds enough to avoid their warranty threshold.
So despite clear discomfort and uneven wear, Nectar refuses to consider it a manufacturing fault. They hide behind technicalities to avoid honouring the guarantee.
If you’re thinking about buying, be aware that you might be stuck with an uncomfortable mattress and no real support from Nectar once issues arise. I regret this purchase and wouldn’t recommend it to others.

So delivery service was excellent. The mattress I have is the foam memory premium. This is a fantastic mattress. I have on going back problems that I’ve had for years. Wow I now sleep through the night. It’s made a massive difference to my sleep. Thank you so much nectar.

My Nectar Hybrid mattress is of a very good quality, and I am now getting used to the change from a memory foam based mattress.
It feels like it will last a long time and comes with an 8 year guarantee.
I can highly recommend it.

I was attacked unprovoked by the Nectar sleep delivery driver, he forced his way into our home smashing my front door and assaulting me, my terminally ill wife and grand children was just behind me in the living room screaming, he didnt leave to well after the police was called, sadly my wife passed away less than 48 hours later which im still trying to comes to terms with
Nectar sleep so far have refused to replace the door so im still having to live with that while we grieve and deal with funeral etc
DONT ORDER FROM NECTAR SLEEP.STAY SAFE
Nectar have refused to fix the broken door and im forced to take legal action all while dealing with our grief.

I bought a Nectar Mattress in December 2024 after a lot of research online.
I'd previously had a decent spring mmattress which was about 9 years old and starting to sag.
I was anxious to buy a hybrid mattress without trying it first but the 365 return policy gave me the reassurance I needed.
I tried the mattress for 6 months to ensure I had a chance to adjust and to test in different weather. I wasn't a fan from the outset, however.
The matress is way too warm.
The mattress is too soft and I wake up in a divet which is uncomfortable and defeats the purpose of having a king size bed - you have to climb out of the hole to find a hard patch!
The depression created from a night's sleep takes a long time to bounce back. After 6 months there clear areas of softeness, despite turning the mattress regularly. I'm not overweight.
I asked for a refund and to return the mattress. Initially Nectar offered me a free mattress topper to keep the mattress, which I wasn't keen. They then offered 40% refund and for me to keep the mattress, when refused this increased to a 60% refund.
I explained I wanted a full refund and proceeded to take pictures of the mattress as requested to process the return. Unfortunately, the fire safety tag has come off. I assume this has come off when unpacking or in changing the sheets.
Nectar stated that this means they were unable to accept a return. This is stated in the small print but should be more obvious. The fire tag should be better attached and made more obvious. The previous offers of partial refunds were taken off the table.
Upon further complaining, I've now begrudgigly accepted a 60% refund and have a heavy useless mattress that I'll have to ditch or find a charity to accept without a fire tag.
I feel the negotiation upon my request for return might suggest more people are unhappy than Nectar suggests in their adverts. I also feel that the fire safety tag issue is a cynical ploy on Nectar's part to enable them to refuse more returns and refunds.
For those thinking of buying a Nectar Mattress, a) it's not as good as they make out, and b) beware of the return policy and potential pitfalls.

We ordered a bedroom set and a mattress from Nectar Sleep. We are happy with the mattress, but were shocked by the poor quality of the bedroom furniture. First, the dresser order was cancelled and refunded with no explanation. Second, the bedside tables were delivered and were cheap plywood and veneer. The drawers are flimsy and only open half way. The veneer was chipped on one of the drawers out of the box and it does not look like real wood. They are shipped from Ashley furniture and the last time we bought furniture from Ashley, we had to rebuild the base of our couch because it was so flimsy (we are not big people and did not abuse the furniture in any way). We reached out to try to cancel the rest of the order and received no response so far. It has been over a weekend, so we will see what happens this week. Bottom line, we like the mattress, but would never buy their bedroom furniture because it is nothing like what the photos suggest.
