Subpar quality

In the lifetime of the product, I had to get several armrest replacements, the cover of the arm rests started to breakdown, by daily usage.

Then I had to get the seat since it compressed way too much after the first year of usage, to got to a state where it was not comfortable to sit on.

The base was crocket, so that had to be changed to, and same goes with the backrest of the char.

In general I had to get spare parts that could replace a full chair, because there where so many faults and issues.

And even though it was all RMA exchanges we came down to them not being willing to replace any more parts, even though the spare parts also started failing, so all in all DON’T buy chairs from this brand.

- Pros
Well it was fine the first couple of months, and comfy.

- Cons
Poor Quality Control

Armrests breaks and wear down easily, the cover smarts bubbling up, and breaking a part, and one of the arm rests, dos no longer lock, and slides back and forth.

PU Leather starts to flake of quite faster (after 2 years of usage).

Seams wear out quickly (after 2 years)

Note:
My old chair, was a old style office chair, with weaved seating, that one lasted for more than 20 years, I had that chair since I was a kid.

Maxnomic states they create high quality products, that are durable, this is a smoke screen in my eyes, and I would not recommend their chairs.

There is way better solutions on the market, in the same price range.

Materials are not durable. The price isn't worth it

I bought a Dreamhack series on july 2017. At the beginning it was very confortable, but in the late second year, both of the armrests started a non return process of crambling off. And after four years, both the backrest and seating's cover (in leatherette) started to peel, (is it normal for a high value chair?). After contacting the support, they offered me either a repair or a (non effordable) replacement of both backrest and seating. I refused, of course, because the amount I would have had to pay would been near by the price of a new chair.
Due to the quality of the construction's materials used to build the chair, I strongly advise against the buy from this brand. The price ratio is unjustified. Today I am feeling very disappointed about my experience, It's ridiculous to lose my chair after only 4 years.

Chair breaks after two years. No support.

I bought the XXL chair and used it comfortably and happily for just over two years. Out of nowhere, the back rest and tilting mechanism break. Contacting support, they only said: 'out of warranty' (not even a 'sorry this happened'). The solution is to pay 220 euros, ex. shipping for a back rest. This is almost half the price I paid for the chair, and it doesn't even fix the tilting problem.
Very disappointed. Would never recommend this company!

The only good thing to say is they got …

The only good thing to say is they got good support?

In general the experience with this chair is bad, arm rest changed 3-4 times now they keep bubbling up so the outer part starts to crack and fall off.

The base was not 100% aligned, it was a bit off to a side.

The gas spring now is able to rock from side to side in the base.....

The lower part of the chair you can feel the metal thrue it...

In general the look and feel of the chair now 1½ years later is very bad to the point where i got to buy a new chair, and i did not expect that when i bought a chair that costs €519!!! it's there XL-Series, and ye it's just not quality it feels to cheap.

More quality control :)

I ordered an orange thunderbolt chair from needforseat.de.
Sent to Denmark during the Christmas period of 4 days. Quite fine!

The overall quality is a little poor since, for example, they included wood screws to screw in metal even though there were M5 thread? But why?
I chanced this to common M5 screws.
It all did not fit together perfectly and it need some wear before it runs perfectly.

I think they are missing a little quality control since the chairs are made in china

But otherwise I'm happy with the product.
There was also good service when I changed my order to orange although I first had ordered a blue. Thank you!

Awesome chair

Ordered my chair Monday afternoon and was dispatched the next day and delivered to me on Thursday - cannot complain with service like that especially when the company is German based, full tracking was available with DPD so that made things that much easier.

The chair itself is very well packaged and amazingly put together, they even throw in free cushions, the only down side is that the instructions are all in German but there are lots of pictures and it's only a chair to put together so I didn't have any problem - put together and in use all in about 20 minutes.

Average

+ Shipping from germany to Denmark was about 3-4 days
+ Support is fast to reply and helpful
- Can only pay with paypal and bank transfer
- Website is somewhat ugly. They are the only seller of Maxnomic cus its their brand. For that reason i bought there, otherwise i would not have trusted the site, but the brand is pretty popular, so had to be legit.
- Some things can only be read in german

For the chair, its pretty hard. Not used to it yet. Very adjustable but so far not that comfortable.
