Not a happy customer
Let me tell you a story about my recent delivery of kiln dried logs, as you need a certain amount of background information to understand my annoyance. I contacted the company, with my order, namely two large bags of kiln-dried logs. I emphasise the kiln-dried aspect for reasons that will soon become clear to you. They were unable to give me a delivery date at that time, maybe Friday, maybe the following Monday, but said they'd get back to me when they knew. They never got back to me. On the Friday I was working at home all morning, and at lunchtime I left my desk. At this point imagine my surprise when I noticed that the logs had just been left on my driveway. No doorbell ring or anything, just abandoned and a soggy receipt stuffed in the letterbox. Now at this point you might be thinking, "Well that's kind of Ok, at least you have them". What you don't yet know is the date. November 14th 2025. That won't mean anything to you reading this in 2026/27/28 or whenever, so let me refresh your memory. This was the day that storm Claudia deluged the UK. It rained, and rained, and rained more. Then for good measure, even more rain. Widespread flooding, roads closed. rainiest day in a long time. And this is the day that the driver decided "I can't be arsed to ring the doorbell to let this customer know that his kiln-dried logs are getting soaked. I'll just leave them there". Idiot. Conclusion, if you are ever thinking about ordering logs from this company, then do check the weather forecast. Did I mention that they were kiln-dried logs?
