I’ve been searching for ages to find a full wireless babymonitor. Our baby sleeps outside, and that makes it difficult by plug it in a eletricity socket. With help of ChatGPT I found Neonate. This babymonitor we now use for some weeks, so time for a short review.

The battery in both parent as baby unit lasts for ages. So we don’t have to recharge it every day. For now we only have to charge it every 3 weeks.

We have the small BC-5800D. Its a very small device so keep it somewhere there so you can find it easy. The ouside feels little plastic and cheap but in the end it does what it needs to do.

The quality of the mic (babyunit) and the audio (parentunit) really surpised us big times. Also the range between both in a middle big town lasts at least around 200 meters. The temperature it measures is very accurate.

Overall, for at home (if you need both parent and babyunit wireless) and specially for traveling (small lightweigthed) we really recommend Neonate. Deleviry to the Netherlands took about 4 workingdays and is okay. We’re still happy using the device and its a shame we needed ChatGPT in the end to find this one.

I do not think that I own something of such low quality! It is very rarely given to me to see something with such cheap plastic. Does it work? Yes. But I don't know for how long. I am an electronic engineer, I work with products, many products, so I know what I am talking about. I mean for this quality, the price should be 100DKK. Then I would not be mad, but it's way too expensive for what it is. Extremly cheap and flimsy, scratchable plastic, out of standard USB chargers/adapters! It is really crazy how many bad things there are about this product.
