Tour in Chitwan National Park
My husband and I recently did a tour with Welcome Nepal Treks in Chitwan National Park, and everything was beautifully organized by Hari and his team. I went with Welcome Nepal after getting a much higher quote from another company, and it turns out that there were people on our tour who booked with that other company. Not only did we pay much less than them for the exact same tour, we actually got a huge bonus that they didn't get: a night in a jungle tower that was the highlight of our stay! We got to see rhinos grazing and mating at dusk, and then, just before night fell, we saw a tiger! Originally there was some confusion as to whether the jungle tower was included in our package, and Hari made sure we got it, so we felt very blessed to have this rare opportunity. If it were not for his integrity and hard work, we would not have seen that tiger! The next day we really enjoyed the jungle treks, the boat ride and jeep tour, and we also appreciated that the guides warned us that the elephant breeding center can be upsetting, and allowed us to omit it. Our guides were all good, and we loved the staff at the hotel. The food choices there were a bit limited, but the entertainment (a cultural show) was fantastic. All in all, this was a tour I would highly recommend to others, and I would definitely consider using Welcome Nepal Treks again for other tours in Nepal.
