Well we got a great car for our son it’s not his first car but it’s a much better one . Matt was great explaining ( more than once ) to him all about the car and nothing was too much trouble he’s told him that he can call him anytime if there something he doesn’t understand . We are very please with the service we got and how looked after we were.

I purchased a Ford Fiesta EcoBoost from Matt at New Automotive in April 2023, assured the wet belt had been replaced. Turns out, it hadn’t—confirmed by an independent mechanic after a major failure. The so-called service was supposedly done by Garage 2 U, but their contact numbers and email don’t work.

Six months in, the turbo failed, costing me £950 to fix. This should’ve been a warning sign, as turbo failures and wet belt issues stem from the same root cause—the wet belt not being replaced. Fast forward, the wet belt fails, leading to serious engine damage, leaving me with another £850 bill.

When confronted, Matt just shifts the blame to Karl (Garage 2 U) his mechanic, who he's used for two years. No accountability, no resolution, and Matt's preference is to go down the legal route. Despite clear evidence, the dealership refuses to take responsibility, making excuses instead of putting things right.

Avoid at all costs!

Matt’s a proper gentlemen, made the purchasing of a vehicle from him simple and made me feel extremely comfortable. Has been there to answer questions post sale and provide any support needed. Perfect experience when buying a car!

Purchased a BMW 3 Series Touring from Matt at New Automotive. Matt was extremely easy to deal with, no pushy sales just genuinely wanted to help. The car was exactly as described online (if not better) and perfectly presented when I went to view and collect the following day.

It was a pleasant experience buying a car from Matt for my daughter. Ford Focus was very clean and in very good condition. Matt is very friendly, knowledgeable about what he sells. After numerous messages regarding a particular car that was unfortunately sold before I could see it, Matt invited me to see a car that he had not had time to fully prepare or advertise, we visited to view and test drive, all good so far! Matt then fully prepared, MOT’d and serviced the car, we had agreed a deal and arrived to collect, absolutely nothing had been missed from his promises, the car (10 years old) was better than we expected, the 40 mile drive home was a pleasure. Went to Matt at new automotive to look at car he's a great guy goes above an beyond with his cars we brought the car which was a VW Tiguan would definitely return to buy another from him even put diesel in for us to drive home an valeted the car again which didn't need but he still did it. messaged us the day after to see how we liked the car so if your looking for a car definitely go an check the garage out.

Bought a Fiesta for my son recently from Matt at New Automotive. The car was immaculate at a very competitive price. There was also peace of mind that the car was fully serviced with wet belt done as standard which was reassuring with the mileage. Would fully recommend them for the quality of cars they provide but be quick at deciding as the cars don’t hang around for long
