NEWBIE DRIVING ACADEMY  Reviews

The company is doing great job 👏

I have taken lessons by Mr Tarek Chy.I am impressed by his focus on my every single actions onset. He is a very professional and gentle person.

My driving instructor has been patient and supportive during lessons always on time and gives good in depth explanation for your understanding during lessons.

Great driving instructor, great cars and an overall helpful, practical and functional learner driving experience 👍

I’m really glad I chose Newbie Driving School and had Zakaria as my driving instructor here in Kingstanding, Birmingham. Starting out as a complete beginner, I was nervous and lacked confidence behind the wheel at first, but Zakaria always stayed calm, patient and encouraging through every lesson. He never rushed me, explained each manoeuvre clearly and broke tricky things down into simple steps — from roundabouts and junctions to parallel parking and reversing. Whenever I made mistakes he pointed them out gently, showed me how to fix them and helped me learn rather than making me feel bad. He also spent plenty of time building my awareness of local Kingstanding roads, busy areas and common hazards so I felt ready for real‑world driving, not just the test. Lessons were well‑planned, he was always on time and gave honest feedback every week so I could keep improving. Thanks to his steady guidance, consistent support and good sense of direction, I finally passed my driving test. I would definitely recommend Newbie Driving School and instructor Zakaria to anyone in Birmingham who wants to learn safely and build real confidence.

I had the pleasure of learning to drive with Tareq at Newbie Driving Academy, and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. From day one, Tareq made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel.

What really stood out was his patient teaching style. He never rushed through lessons and always took the time to explain things clearly, whether it was mastering parallel parking or understanding roundabouts. Tareq has a calm demeanor that helped ease my nerves, especially during my first few lessons when I was pretty anxious about driving.

He’s also great at providing constructive feedback in a way that’s encouraging rather than critical. Tareq tailored each lesson to focus on areas where I needed improvement, which really helped me progress quickly. His knowledge of the local driving test routes and requirements was invaluable when it came time for my exam.

Thanks to Tareq’s thorough instruction and support, I passed my driving test on the first attempt! If you’re looking for a driving instructor who is professional, patient, and genuinely invested in your success, I highly recommend Tareq at Newbie Driving Academy.

Good driving Instructor. Explains processes in an understandable way. Stays relaxed when any mistakes are made during the lesson.

I recently started learning to drive with Newbie Driving Academy, and my first lesson went really smoothly. I was quite nervous at first, but my instructor, Chowdhury, was very patient and helped me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the lesson.

Overall, I’m really happy with the service so far. The lessons offer great value for money, and I’m looking forward to continuing my driving journey with them. Highly recommended.
