I am absolutely thrilled with this bank, and the ease of opening an account and would like especially to thank Ja-Kira for her wonderful help. Customer service is where it's at.

We had a problem with wiring some funds. After many tries, a supervisor named Jessica Gross became involved and took care of everything!

Jessica was extremely pleasant, smart and readily recognised the problem and resolved it!

We were grateful for her assistance.

This is not my first experience dealing with an online financial institution. I was pleased with the ease accessing their website and maneuvering my way around as well as the message board.
I just recently dealt with Ja’kira who expeditiously answered my questions and resolved my concerns as well as my financial task. She was very prompt, professional and pleasant.

Newtek bank is advertised in several searches as having an attractive IRA CD rate. So, we called to see about rolling one of our IRA CDs over into a Newtek account. The rep seemed confused by our inquiry. Later, she comes online saying they don’t offer IRA CDs; that they have to be individual CDs. (Whaaat?) When we explained we are individuals, she goes offline again to research. She comes back on stating that “they” don’t offer CDs (presumably, at all). By this time it was obvious we were wasting our time and closed the session.

Katie in Tier 2 took my non-routine matter and handled it easily to make everything go smoothly!

Matthew and Robyn are very helpful with my loan process. They went through step by step in helping me getting all my documents ready for the process.

Eileen was amazing. I have never worked with someone so well and so quickly to get my issue taken care of. She went above and beyond and if I could give her more stars I would. Give that girl a raise.

Easy to work with. I use email, online account messaging for questions or requests. I haven't spoken to an individual however it hasn't been necessary. They are prompt at replying. My last communication was with Ja'Kira. Very prompt. High Yield Savings interest rates comparable to CD's with the ease of not locking our money up for months at a time. Moving money from one account to another (Newtek bank or other) takes 3-5 business days to complete.

Everyone though this whole process was very helpful and easy to talk with.

Mathew and the whole crew ,everyone I have dealt with was very professional,always to the point ,no wasting time.

Left a message in the system, and the request is taken care of. No hassels. No fighting with the AI agent. Everything was done the natural way. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience working with this bank. Since it was new to me, I wasn’t sure what to expect at first, but Alaina E. and her team were phenomenal. They were patient, answered all of my questions, and walked me through the process step by step. When I thought I might not be able to get a business loan, they helped me understand what was needed and I ended up getting funded.

I would definitely recommend this bank to other small business owners who want to grow. I’d suggest checking them out before going to the conventional big banks. They also offer a lot in-house, including payment/processing services, insurance, and other business services, which makes it convenient and can help save money. If you’re trying to build your brand and keep more of your costs under control, I’d start here.

I had a great experience working with Newtek Bank. Maisha and Aimee were absolutely wonderful to work with from start to finish. They were professional, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable throughout the entire process.

All of my experiences with Newtek bank have been 100% customer friendly. I am older and have a difficult time navigating the requirements for log in, etc. Whenever I had customer service on the phone, they were friendly, patient, and stayed with me until I completed my process and had full understanding of what I needed to. I have a CD maturing, but would definitely use the bank services again.
My latest experience with Ja'Kira was also 100% customer friendly. She responded to me promptly, explained the requirements in detail, and responded again promptly after I provided the information needed to transfer my CD at maturity. I am very impressed with customer service. My experiences with other banks have been total nightmares!

One of the worst experience with little to no follow through. Officers at Newtek for SBA loan applications waited almost 1 month to get back to us despite repeated requests while never returning phone call or emails. They dismissed the loan application without follow up and exploring other options after spending a lot of time putting all the documents together. The bank hides behind its lack of physical presence. Avoid at all costs. Very frustrating and a lot of time wasted.

I have worked with many of the employees from Newtek Bank and they are all professional and helpful, I recently worked with Ja'Kira and they followed up with a call and email to make sure everything went correctly folks like them make me think of Newtek when banking

Contacted Newtek to make changes on my accounts. Katie was very helpful and answered my questions quickly and made it easy to make these changes. Would recommend Newtek for their competitive rates and great customer support.

Generally, my experience with Newtek and its representatives was good. The only inconvenience I experienced was when I went to transfer funds from my matured CD I had to make a formal request in writing, rather than have the ability to make the transfer totally online as other banks do.
