Awesome street bike
Awesome street bike. I love the stability of the ride, ease of gear shifting n GPS system.
The style of the bike is very nice. The lights front n back automatically comes on when necessary is a wonderful feature.
It would be nice to improve the Chords ability to be both a street n gravel bike.

First time e-bike buyer and decided to buy one of the lightest and best bikes. Ordered online without a test drive as friends purchased the Urtopia bikes in the past.
Fast delivery, easy to assemble and worked directly with the Customer service team. (Stella) who provided exceptional responsiveness and accurate answers.
Would definitely recommend this bike to anyone looking for a light and well build ebike. Drove the bike around my neighborhood ( 0 Grad) Very happy with my new purchase and can not wait for spring.
Very helpful when ordering the Urtopia
Best recommendation for an electric bike! We had some questions when ordering and customer service was very helpful in choosing the size for us. When we received these they were easier to put together than expected and we put many miles on them riding along West Michigan trails. There was a glitch a couple of months later, but this was resolved with an update. We have recommended these bikes to anyone who is considering an electric bike because of the good customer service and quality of the bike. Customer service worked with us until this one update was resolved. They were always patient in the phone.
Awesome ride
I’ve owned my Chord E bike for a year now and it is one of the most fulfilling purchases I’ve made as an adult. Not being an avid cyclist, this bike gives me the confidence and support to take long bike rides without fear of having to navigate different terrain. The controls are conveniently placed and easy to use. I like the sturdiness of the bike and being a taller and bigger guy, it’s good knowing that it can handle the load. My only concern is finding comfort in the seat. I’m currently on my third bike seat because the other options became very uncomfortable after a distance. Overall, I love this bike and it’s sleek design has gotten me several compliments along the trail.

She was very helpful with all of my concerns. Answered all of my questions and provided me with great discounts After this a experience I decided to buy a bike for My wife they offered me fantastic discounts on the second purchase as well. Annie who guided me thru the process of which bikes to buy, including accessories, is by far the most knowledgeable, responsive and helpful person I have dealt with in eons! I am a first time on-line buyer, so I did a ton of research before I found Urtopia e-bikes … after I was certain this was the brand for me, Annie used her wisdom to navigate me thru the process of purchasing 2 of the Carbon Pro 1’s and 2 of the Chord X’s to be delivered to a house I just bought in Italy … it’s a small house but can store 4 bikes for when friends visit. I love my new electric bike from Urtopia. It feels like the future. The intelligent functions make cycling even more enjoyable and safer. The service is always very fair and fast. Even stupid questions about how the rear light works were answered quickly and easily with the help of photos and videos. That's how I imagine customer service to be. It's a shame that you're not allowed to ride faster in Germany, but even so it's really fun. The turbo button feels like I'm Michael Knight in Knight Rider and can jump over 10 obstacles at once 😅 Keep it up 👏.

The immediate support from Annie…
The immediate support from Annie (Urtopia) service was unbelievable! I've been buying RAD Bikes for 8 years, five of them in fact now and have never received close to the service I have received today, all in the course of an hour or so. CRAZY. RAD bikes are great however too heavy and lack support. AND failed to correct the same poor design issues.
It was either a three-wheeler because of my back and age. NO WAY after seeing this beauty! Now I won't be limited to the same distance and trail everyday. Thanks to Urtopia Ebikes and their great support!

Purchased a Carbon 1 in May 28 2024 and…
Purchased a Carbon 1 in May 28 2024 and bike arrived broken. Instead of them saying to return the bike, Or take to a local authorized repair center, they obligated me to take bike apart and troubleshoot. After a month they agreed to take the bike back for a refund. Bike was return and over 2 weeks later, still waiting for refund. Only contact is email and all they do is say sorry and not resolve any issues. I would not buy from this company. I may end up losing my money..
Update. Finally was refunded. Took 3 weeks of begging to get funds returned. Poor customer service response. Stay away from this company.

Fast help without lots of bureaucratic stuff
I had a problem with the bottom bracket ball bearing what made clicking sounds while pedaling.
I wrote about my problem and got a quick contact with a crew member of urtopia services. They helped very unbureaucratically by sending me a spare part that arrived just two days later.

We own two!
My wife and I bought two bikes from Urtopia. I have the Carbon1 Pro and my wife has the refurbished Carbon 1S. I have put 236 miles on my bike in the past month and so far so good. For the money, I highly recommend the refurbished Carbon 1. It’s a no brainer, but, I would recommend the Pro if you want to be able to adjust your handlebar height or add suspension to your seat post. My wife needed neither but did. It took us a little while to bind the app to the bike but once we figured it out, it wasn’t an issue anymore. The refurbished bike didn’t come with a battery key and the app wasn’t binding to the bike. After contacting customer service, they fixed both within 24 hours. They mailed out a key For the battery pack overnight and fixed the software bug to bind the bike immediately. Use their email to contact them. I would not use the app for customer service, for whatever reason they didn’t see our request using the app. But they are very fast with the email. The navigation function on the app doesn’t work, but we don’t use that anyway. I don’t know what they’re talking about with the chat GPT. I see no function of that on the bike, it seems that they have stopped advertising that function. Perhaps even removed it because it wasn’t working as they were expecting possibly. The bike is exactly as advertised. It’s very lightweight and we are getting compliments on them all the time. I do think that it would be a stretch to get 80 miles out of the battery. Probably closer to 35 miles which is just fine. I use power level 2 always and use 3 and turbo on bridges and hills. Perhaps one might get 80 miles if they were 100 lbs and in power level 1 with a tailwind.
Be Very Careful With This Company
Be careful with this company. They hid the fact that the weight limit on the bike is 240lbs until after I placed the order. Then I immediately tried to cancel the order which they told me they did and I would be refunded in 3 to 5 days. 2 days later they contact me trying to have me wait until mid October for a new, unannounced bike comes out and to apply my funds to that bike instead or have a restocking fee (mind you they never sent the bike as I contacted them 15 mins after I order). This is sketchy asf and doesn’t bode well for their brand. This just sounds a bit scammy to me and now I have to call my bank.

Wow the ride is amazing as love the peddle assist as still getting a good workout. This is unlike bike riders who are zooming around only using the motor. Lots of complements from other riders. Feel safe with the strong lights and directional signals.
Good eBike Overall!
I just got the new Urtopia Carbon 1 Pro. Overall I like the ebike experience with the new improvements and have been riding it 4-5 times a week on lot longer rides. My major complaint is the seat: 1. this is a street bike but the seat is for a speed bike (very narrow) and it's very uncomfortable. I now need to invest in a new seat. 2. It doesn't seat back far enough (I adjusted the seat to slide all the way back) and I constantly pulling myself forward. It's almost like it was designed for a shorter person, but I have the Large size (I'm 5' 10"). As it was mentioned in other comments, I don't see a difference between level 3 & Turbo mode.
