This is the most ridiculous company I…

This is the most ridiculous company I have dealt with in my adult life. I own a business that accepts multiple payment methods and have been making transactions with credit/debit cards for as long as I can remember. If there is ever an issue or suspection of fraud the transaction gets declined at the time of sale. This company took my order, took my payment and 2 days later said they are refunding it and pointed me to some unheard of methods of payment. My bank confirmed there was no issue on their end. They had no problem with the transaction. They processed this online transaction as a credit transaction on my VISA. Customer service says they only accept credit cards. The person I spoke with would not connect me to a supervisor, stated the billing department does not speak to people and no matter what department I called it was always her that answered. Finally she admitted she is the only person there. I definitely won't be using the "alternate" payment methods they suggested where I am seemingly wiring money to them. I doubt they have any intention of providing the service they advertise. Further research suggests they are simply a 3rd party, so pretty good chance they're just going to take your money without providing any service. Buyer Beware!

Every review I've found since speaks to how big of a scam they are!!!

We would like to clarify that while an initial transaction may appear to be accepted, our billing department performs additional security checks to prevent fraudulent activity. These measures are in place to protect both our customers and our business.

Regarding your experience with our support team, we apologize if the communication felt restrictive. We strive to provide professional assistance, and we have taken note of your comments regarding the availability of supervisors and the information provided by our representative.

We assure you that we are a legitimate service dedicated to fulfilling floral and gift deliveries, and we appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention as we work to improve our verification and customer service procedures.

Zero Stars

Zero Stars! Avoid - this place is a scam. Horrible service, your flowers will be late, they'll be thrown in the box with peanuts crammed on top, and half the blooms/flower heads falling off. Customer service is a joke. Happy I didn't invest more in my order.

Worst Customer Service - super patronizing

I ordered the chocolate covered strawberries and champagne to be delivered to a friend. The strawberries were not packaged properly for any amount of transit and arrived thrown around the box looking awful and were not edible. When I sent a picture not only was I not provided a full refund for the strawberries but the customer service was incredibly patronizing. I am so impressed at how bad the customer service is and that they're arguing with me over the remaining $25 considering they didn't offer the required overnight or same day shipping they say is required as an option. The only options I had to select from were 2 day shipping and 3 day shipping and they're saying because I didn't select overnight it is my responsibility. I don't know how I could have selected something not provided as an option.

Scam - this is NY Blooms not antique sculpture! They probably trade this way to hide bad reviews

Scam. Always read reviews but didn't this time and I've learned my lesson. What a shame as it left my mother with no present at Christmas. I live abroad and was depending on it to brighten her day. This place must be run by very hard hearted people. It came 4 days after Xmas and I placed the order at the beginning of December. They refused to refund or apologise and referred me to the fine print. Feel a bit of a fool tbh! Don't do what I did

Unreliable Service

Placed an order for my daughter's 21st birthday. I received confirmation that the order will be delivered on the day of her birthday (I day shopping), only to find out days later that the order will be delivered a WEEK later. The order couldn't be cancelled or refunded! Such a disappointing, unreliable service. So sad that my daughter didn't receive my gift on her birthday.

Beware: a scam!

This florist is a scam. Do not, under any circumstances, go near them. If I could give them less than one star, I would.

Horrible experience

As the title says, my experience with New York Blooms has been awful. My order was completely wrong and NOT what I had ordered from their site.

I chose what looked like a gorgeous array of pink roses and cymbidium orchids for a friend’s birthday in San Francisco. Unfortunately what was delivered was nothing like what was on the website and was replaced with much cheaper flowers and a potted cheaper orchid plant - both of which were squashed into a box and the stems on the orchid broken/damaged.

At no point was I advised that the flowers I ordered were not available. The florist who sent the flowers were based in Santa Fe and did a horrible job in replacing the bouquet and packaged it so that the flowers were in the bottom of the box with the plant sitting on TOP OF the flowers. The delivery guy also left the box on its side which also did not help even though it was clearly labelled fragile.

I contacted NY Blooms via email and spoke with a gentleman named Steven. I was given different excuses in two separate emails and offered a $52.00 refund.

What should’ve been done was to A) Reimburse me the entire amount (AUD$180.00) or deliver what I actually ordered and not damaged as a courtesy if they valued client satisfaction and wanted my business again.

My regret is I did not see the negative views on other sites which would have made me choose a local florist in the Bay area. In hindsight I should’ve called a local smaller business and supported them in these tough times. A bitter lesson learned.

Please read all the negative reviews via a simple Google search and you will see I am not the only customer to have been screwed over by this company.

THIS FLORIST IS A SCAM

Do not use this florist, the perishable plant and balloons were booked for delivery in New York on the 4th March, now the 19th March and the company claim they are still in transit??? to where and in what condition? Looking at the reviews this is obviously how they do business. BEWARE!! Seeking a refund which the company is trying to avoid.

Flowers, belated and drowned

For my birthday, my mom ordered potted orchids from New York Blooms, not having read the online reviews, which are damning. The flowers arrived two days late, on their side, and overwatered to the point of having been drowned. We removed the mildewing petals, which were dripping colored water. We repotted the remainder to give the leaves and stem an opportunity to dry out. Unfortunately, they have proved to be beyond salvation. My mom sought a refund, which the company has continued to deny via form email that they send and resend, despite narrative, photographic and video evidence of their failure to (timely) deliver what my mother had ordered, namely an attractive and alive plant. Thankfully, my mom's credit card company has stopped payment; otherwise, I would be taking them to small claims court because I'm so angry about their scam.

Never order from this company.

I have ordered flowers and a box of sweets with the option of next day delivery for which I paid 18$.
The package never arrived. New York blooms says it was sent and delivered by UPS and that they are not responsible for it.
They don’t answer the phone, don’t want to refund or send the missing items. It’s a huge disappointment

Missing+Wrong Items; Late Delivery; No customer service

Hi,

I'm writing about Order No. 44610079USNYB. The order was placed on July 31st in the morning, for same day delivery.

I am extremely disappointed with what my friend has received. I paid $228 for this delivery, expecting good service but what was received is not worth a third of the price!!

The below things went wrong with the order -

1. Was not delivered on the same day. Not even the next day. It was delivered 3 days late.

2. The flowers were absolutely wilted.

3. I ordered the "Louis Roederer Brut Premier Champagne" worth $92 (as quoted on the bill) and instead received Roederer Estate Brut Sparkling Wine which retails for one-third of that price.

4. I paid 25$ dollars for 3 gourmet items, i.e. bread sticks, crackers and jam. These were missing.

5. I ordered 3 specific gourmet cheeses, and instead got basic, grocery store retail cheese (one was a cheese spread omg!. The other two were grocery store cheeses instead of the Bellavitano Balsamic and Christina Camembert. Again, all of this retails at a fraction of the price I paid.

6. I left a note with the order, this was missing.

Reached out to them at all 13 of their customer service email IDs listed, and ALL 13 emails bounced back because apparently the email IDs don't exist. I have pictures to verify my claims.

Damaged & Missing Products / No customer service response

My first email to damages@newyorkblooms was kicked back. I emailed EVERY email address I could find. All 10 kicked back. I called (800) 897-1485. No able to talk to a live person. Left a voicemail requesting a full refund of $181.38. Order: Pops of Cheer Flowers & Champagne Gift with UPGRADED bottle of champagne BOSS Wine Paint Bar Extra Dark Chocolate × 1 Cupcakes 3" Cupcake Pink Velvet (6) × 1 Ordered on Saturday, July 10th Paid for UPS Next Day Air Delivery Actually delivery date: 7/14/2021 The flowers are dying & vase is broken. The flowers do not look anything like the photo. There is NO champagne, let alone an "upgraded" bottle. There is NO chocolate included in the package. And the pink velvet cupcakes are vanilla and are completely smashed and melted. Requesting a FULL refund. I have photos of the ordered items, what was actually delivered, and texts from the receptionist who received them to give to the recipient.

I got a bit put off by bad reviews I read elsewhere and tried to cancel after they delivered it already. They credited half the amount and resent everything plus more stuff. Basically they send over twice the amount of stuff for less than half the money. Even though they did everything they were supposed to. Will definitely use them in the future and try to pay them back

This company is very off and suspicious. I wish I had read the reviews earlier before making a purchase. I ordered flowers and a bottle of wine for my grandmothers birthday to NYC from Athens and it hasn’t arrived at all. Not to mention the fact that none of their emails work and no one answers the phone. Who is in charge of this company?

WARNING -DO NOT USE NYBLOOM

DO NOT use this service. It is the absolute worst customer experience I have every had. My order is weeks "delayed" even thought it says on its tracking app that it was delivered on 3/31. You cannot get a hold of anyone at the company. No one can provide a status update and they will not issue a refund. I had a friend who was engaged, I sent flowers and weeks later it is still not delivered and I am out $100 with no explanation.
