It doesn’t work on hot days if the sun is on the window as the device gets too hot, otherwise it’s fine. It works well with my forward camera and gives a good view out the back window of my vw caddy.

The Nextbase Rear-View Camera is designed with a narrower, telephoto lens, to record the view of the road directly behind your vehicle. The view recorded is similar to the image seen in your rear-view mirror. It uses a 30° telephoto lens to look back through the vehicle, capturing details of the road behind, making sure you are guarded against tailgaters and rear end impacts. Since it is fixed to the since of the Dashcam which therefore captures the images to be captured through the rear, it is not effective in particular if the rear seat is occupied.

Thank you for leaving a Trustpilot review.
I really am sorry to hear that the rear view camera is not to your satisfaction.
We do offer a rear camera that can be mounted onto the rear windscreen.

The rear cam that plugs into the side of the dash cam is ideal for my needs as I didn't want the other rear camera fitted to my rear screen
