Think the cable is far too long. Copying the diagram in the box how to wire it through the car. There is some much cable left over which is annoying. This is a BMW estate.

The replacement cable I purchased due to the fact the original cable supplied with the rear camera socket became detached. I have also noticed that the Dashcam unit not longer gets really as was the case with the original cable supplied. I reported this via customer service portal.
