The seals wear out after a while. I had expected to have to buy a whole new Aeropress so pleasantly surprised to be able to buy just this replacement part. Easy to fit, works satisfactorily.

They work fine when new but do gradually wear out. You just have to regard them as (slowly) consumable.

Excellent coffee maker. Seal do need replacing regularly but I think that is a reflection on the usage it gets. All ways separate plunger from cylinder after making coffee - it will extend life of seal.
Exactly what I wanted - easy to fit.
