Our History: Nexus Fostering was established in 2002 in London by a group of staff and carers who felt it was possible to offer a professional and personal service to foster carers, children, young people and local authorities. Our management and social work teams have extensive experience of children's social work and family placements, within both the statutory and independent sector. We work in close partnership with local authorities to identify and meet the needs of their children, and provide safe and secure placements. Nexus Fostering is a member of: British Association of Social Workers The Children's Legal Centre FosterTalk A National Voice Nationwide Association of Fostering Providers The most recent Ofsted inspection rated Nexus Fostering as providing an 'outstanding' service for the third time. "The leadership and management of the fostering service is exceptional. Leaders and managers are inspirational and highly visible within the organisation. This allows them good opportunity to meet with all stakeholders, including children, young people, foster carers and their families to hear their ideas first-hand about the effectiveness of the service. Managers welcome and encourage feedback and they routinely act upon suggestions to enhance further the quality of the fostering service. Managers and leaders made themselves available to all interested parties. A foster carer said of the responsible individual, ‘Grace? She’s everywhere!’" - Ofsted, 2015 Even though we have been rated at 'Outstanding', we’re not complacent. We’re always striving to improve and make sure we continue to provide an outstanding service to our foster carers and the young people in their care.

They put their heart and soul in

Who would have thought that such a fantastic organisation would have such an incredible team behind it? The time and care you put into finding the right people to support and foster is truly reassuring.

It has been an absolute pleasure for CV-Library to work with you. Megan Ingram has been a joy to collaborate with — professional, caring, enthusiastic, and deeply passionate about ensuring children have the very best outlook in life.

Well done to you all. We look forward to working with you again in the future.

Proud to support Nexus Fostering’s digital innovation

As a provider of AI support tools, we have been incredibly impressed with Nexus Fostering’s commitment to their staff and foster carers. It is great to see an agency so proactive in adopting technology to reduce administrative burdens. By streamlining paperwork, they are ensuring their social workers can spend less time behind a desk and more time supporting the families who need them most. A forward-thinking, heart-led organisation.

Nexus offer outstanding support

Nexus offer outstanding support and guidance and we have nothing but praise for them. I have been privileged to be able to have direct access to the responsible person and the directors, although this isn’t a special privilege for me it is for all their carers who they value so highly

My experience with Nexus.

I have been fostering with Nexus for over a year, I looked at many fostering companies before I chose to go with Nexus. From our first telephone conversation till now I have always been made feel confortable and supported. As a new foster carer faced many challenges but Nexus really supported me and my family throughout our fostering journey. If you are thinking to fostering give Nexus a call.

After fostering for 18 yrs I can only…

After fostering for 18 yrs I can only say what I see with IFA and working for LA. What can I say in our experiences. We worked for a IFA that was very large just grew and grew we moved after 10ys and thought we had moved to a smaller more close knit IFA but that was a bad decision. On principle we moved to LA and that was disastrous with thoughts of leaving all together then Nexus came along at 1st it was a bit bumpy new changes people left but that’s life and how we all work needing a change !! Before we started officially we were given invites for an evening out for Xmas !! And a voucher for Christmas nice touch !! It’s been a relief to finally find an agency that works with you and do try to get extra help with funding or support. The bonus is im not a number and our SSW is trusted managers do what they can and step in . I’m a competent carer and don’t feel I need to explain why I can’t do things offered . Purely because I’m actually busy working on what’s important my placements gaining a normal home life . Training is offered and the staff will do what they can to get you in or online . I have no intentions of moving although I’m offered more money why would I change when I’m happy where I am. Thank Nexus your doing ok 👍

Im a Nexus Foster Carer of 8 years. In my tenure so far, it has been a positive and inclusive experience, with fantastic support, and an evolving ethos according to the changing needs not only of the young people in our care, but carers as well. It was one of our best decisions as a family! Don't hesitate to contact them and have a chat - you wont regret it!!
