Macey was excellent a great communicator, very efficient even although her title is Trainee she was more help and understanding than the Solicitor we used to purchase our new property. I would highly recommend.
Excellent service from Macey during house sale

Macey, was fantastic, very responsive and thoughtful throughout the whole transaction. very professional too. i would definitely recommend her services to others.
I was very lucky in that the office was near enough to me to visit and drop paperwork off, which in evidence I think did speed things up, or rather kept things rolling, my main contact was with Macey, who was extremely helpful and patient with me if I had any queries questions and if made a mistake kept me calm and corrected things for me, the personal contact was a godsend Bless her.
I used NFL Legal for the purchase of my Bellway home in Witham and had a really good experience throughout. Everything went smoothly, and I found the team helpful and professional across the whole process.
There were some uncertainties around the mortgage provider during the purchase, but the NFL Legal team handled this very well. They kept the communication transparent, explained what was happening, and kept the conversation open throughout. This gave me confidence during a part of the process that could otherwise have been quite stressful.
Kiera Howell and Isabelle Ullmer handled the legal aspects of my purchase, and both were fantastic. Danielle Morgan was also very helpful during my initial enquiry and made a great first impression.
I really appreciated how well the whole process was handled and the quality of communication throughout. Thank you to Kiera, Isabelle and Danielle for all your help.
Based on my experience, I would have no hesitation in recommending NFL Legal. If you are looking for a conveyancing solicitor, I would definitely recommend speaking to their team.
We had a great experience with Nairnsey Fisher & Lewis recently when selling our property and purchasing our new one. The team have been great, quick to respond and happy to explain things when they don't make sense. The whole process was really speedy and the way their systems work were so smooth compared to previous experiences we've had with other solicitors. Would definitely recommend!

I have been using NFL for over 3 years for purchasing and selling property, probate, Will and POA services and highly recommend them. They have provided an outstanding service, they are exceptionally knowledgeable, proactive and genuinely helpful and supportive throughout every transaction I have had with them.
If 5 stars could be given for incompetence, Molly Barrett would get them, for sure. She managed to make what should have been a very simple process, extremely stressful. I could go into the catalogue of errors she made, but there’s not enough room. Suffice to say, she even managed to get the address of the property wrong on all the legal documents, and not just an error in the house number, the wrong town. She only works part time so trying to get hold of her is difficult, and escalation of a complaint to her manager is met with silence. The whole situation of trying to buy a property with NFL was so incredibly stressful, that we pulled out of the purchase. Never, ever again. From reading other reviews it seems that these conveyancers are working with a high volume of clients, so mistakes are being made. We found with Molly that rather than admit to making mistakes, she is very defensive and rude and certainly has the time to fire off excuses in emails, as opposed to getting on with the job she’s paid to do. It’s stressful enough buying a property without the added expense and hassle of trying to do so with a conveyancer who is incompetent.
** and now NFL want ‘more information’ after ignoring multiple emails and phone calls from us. This is a genuine review, made after exhausting all avenues to contact them.
Had a lovely experience with Jamie and Kim helping us purchase our first home, nice and helpful quick to get back to us with any issues and updates would highly recommend to anyone.
Both Rachel and Harrison were always available and ready to help. The best Solicitors we have used in our 10 years of trading. Thank you so much!
Excellent service, went without any stress, always use them for my family needs now

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Nairnsey Fisher & Lewis following our experience with them for a new-build purchase.
I want to be clear that our issue was not with the need for AML or source-of-funds checks. We understood those obligations and made every effort to provide the information requested. Our issue was the standard of communication and the way the matter was managed.
During the transaction, we repeatedly struggled to obtain updates or answers to straightforward questions about what documentation was required. We made numerous telephone calls, were told on several occasions that we would receive a callback, and those callbacks frequently did not happen. Emails also went unanswered for extended periods, despite the transaction being time-sensitive. At points, staff at our developer had to chase the firm on our behalf to try to obtain an update.
One particularly frustrating example involved questions about certified translations of donor documentation. We needed clarification before incurring a substantial translation cost, but despite calls and follow-up emails, it took around two weeks to obtain the answers we needed.
Communication did improve later in the process, particularly once Jennifer Philpott became more directly involved, and I think it is fair to acknowledge that. However, by that stage we had lost confidence in the handling of the transaction.
We ultimately decided to stop the conveyancing process with Nairnsey Fisher & Lewis and instruct another firm. Our new solicitors subsequently completed the conveyancing and we have now completed our purchase.
Buying a home is already stressful, and clients need to be able to rely on their conveyancer for clear communication, realistic expectations and reasonable responses to time-sensitive queries. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here.
Excellent and professional service. Thank you Charlotte for your assistance
Nairnsey Fisher & Lewis are an extremely professional & reliable organisation. From the outset all matters of my conveyancing have been dealt with with minimal contact, ensuring that I can get on with day to day life whilst purchasing my home. James, Tracey, Kim, Danielle & even the reception staff can never do enough to help you. I wish the firm undertook other legal matters as I would definitely employ them time & time again.
We recently used Nairnsey Fisher & Lewis for our sale and purchase of our property. From the moment we instructed them they were so responsive and helpful. Particular thanks to Macey & Charlotte who was fantastic throughout. Highly recommend.
