Worst possible estate agents

Worst possible estate agents for students. Absolutely horrific we have not had a working over for 7 months. Mailed them countless times and called them up several times and it still has not been fixed.

List of problems when we first rented the property going up till now:
-Oven not working (fixed after 2/3ish months and broke after less than a week and has not been sorted out since. A couple of contractors have come in and measurements have been done but 1 month after that....nothing)
-Boiler not working
-Therefore no hot water for the first month
-Old boiler thrown into the corner of our garden (requested several times for it to be removed but nothing yet)
-No working shower (fixed after first couple of weeks)
-Mold across the kitchen wall. Told them about it and landlord just painted over it. As it was not special paint it peeled off very shortly after and has not been fixed since we told them about it months ago

To be fair we should've known how horrible they were since after we signed the tenancy agreement for a specific amount of rent they try to get us to resign it with an increased rent.

If you have Harry Lily as a property manager god rest your soul because you will be living in hell with an environment surrounded by stress and unfinished task which you have no control over.
Had a friend deal with Harry as well and needless to say he was also trash to him.

For the love of god do not go here and fix my oven already.
Also 6 reviews... all giving 1 star but on google reviews it full of 5 star reviews... do not trust those. just like this site 6 1* reviews and it gets an overall score of 2/5...

DO NOT USE

Had the worst experience with them as a student. They were very bad at communicating and would often not reply to emails. Once messaged them about topping up the gas and electricity and received the rudest and bluntest reply ever. They turned up to the house once for a viewing unannounced. The first I knew that they were coming was when they knocked on my bedroom door asking to look around. Then at the end of the tenancy they tried blaming us for problems with the house and the street and after we argued our case that this was not our fault, they were very slow at giving us our deposit back. In the end I received my refund over 3 months after I had moved out. I would not recommend using Nicholas Humphreys to anyone.

No call back or follow up after message left

Rung up about a property for sale last week at the Derby branch. They only have one sales person in the office who was out to lunch at 2pm. Was told by the lettings person that she would ring me back as soon as she returned. This never happened. Suffice to say that if that is how they deal with customers from the offset, then things can only go downhill from there. Wont be buying or selling with them in the future.

Only interested in making money

Only interested in making money. Scot said to me that they have many properties to look after so they can't keep attending to mine. Had two lots of squatter and I had to attend to nearly all of it. They didn't help to get my work men in for repairs as the tenants didn't speak english and after 2 years I still haven't had some money back which I claimed from their deposits for call outs that they didn't open doors to.

It was me that asked them to investigate that there were lots of people living there. Tenants wrecked my property.

By-the-way, Barkers also operate under this name. Barkers look after working tenants and NH after students.

Scott will just keep fobing you off. I didn't know why I was paying them full management fees.
