A safe pair of hands
Clare (the Optometrist) is always so patient and encouraging. She clearly explains what she is going to do before she does it and she helps you to understand the result of the various tests. You definitely feel that you are in good hands.

My late brother was an optician
My late brother was an optician, so I know what a great eye test I get at Nicholson eyecare. Due to my special requirements they even sourced frames for me from Australia. Would recommend.

Very professional, caring service. I needed an urgent appointment and Holly went out of her way to make sure I could have an appointment next day with Maria, the optician.
I had a very thorough eye examination and my mind was put at ease.

My annual eyetest was carried out thoroughly and efficiently by Clare and the team. Everything was explained clearly, and I feel confident that I have a clear understanding of the condition of my eyes.

Personal and professional service
I changed to Clare 12 months ago and immediately noticed the difference from my previous high street chain where it felt like you were on a conveyor belt. I have just been back for my latest check up and nothing has changed. I received the same warm welcome upon arrival and the same personal and professional examination where time is taken to discuss and explain everything to you. A small family business in a small New Forest Village with the personal touch. The staff are attentive to each client’s personal eye conditions and take the time to explain the nature of their problems etc. A good range of frames and time appears to be immaterial to how long it takes to choose a suitable frame, all in all a brilliant service, which I’ve been using for the past 25 years or more, why look elsewhere?

Excellent Opticians
I always go to the opticians with some trepidation (I don’t know why) but I have to say Bonnie, Holly and Clare were absolutely brilliant. The service is first class and the eye tests thorough using modern technology
There is an excellent choice of glasses so I have ordered new glasses and prescription Oakley sunglasses. I am very happy and would happily recommend Nicholson Eyecare
