I would like to thank the staff at Nigel Rayment .I went in January to choose an outfit for my sons wedding which took place in July. I am just under 5ft and with your help and guidance I bought an outfit in a colour I would never have considered trying on . You were right it suited me and my colouring and I received so many compliments on the day that I felt confident and for the first time and had real confidence. you helped with the hat and the shoes which all matched. Also it did not need any alterations which is an absolute first for me. You were so helpful and the service I received was exceptional. It was such a positive experience. Thank you again!!

Big shout out to Rhoda. She absolutely 'got' me. Knew exactly what I was looking for. I was greeted warmly by two ladies. Rhoda spent absolutely ages talking to me. Nothing was too much trouble. What professionalism!

When your dresses are amazing you need an equally fabulous sales team. Sheila and Linda add just the right amount of personal touch. Can t recommend this shop enough. Both ladies know their dresses, know what will suit and quite frankly know better than you do what suits and what will work.

I am not a shopper of clothes but thought I needed to make an effort for my daughters wedding. We visited this shop and had a wonderful experience. Nothing was too much even when I had chosen two dresses after trying on 20. No worries about me trying the two on again. I really enjoyed it and felt like pretty woman. Thank you to Shaun in Manchester I came all the way from Leeds to try a dress I had seen on the Internet..... I didn’t like it, Shaun suggested I try on a Fely Campo dress, I knew instantly that it was the one!
I felt so special, just how a mother of the bride should feel. Shaun suggested a hat too which was perfect So thank you again to Nigel Rayment Boutique in Manchester.

I visited the london branch twice recently, in search of the perfect outfit for my Daughter's wedding, which was proving a somewhat difficult mission!
On both occasions there was a friendly welcome, genuine help and interest, with the option to browse through several rails of dresses, pick out your preferences and have them bought to your changing cubicle wih the utmost courtesy. After several trying on sessions, Nigel's charming and patient wife suggested the perfect outfit, I had finally found the one! her patience and politeness not only met, but exceeded my expectations of outstanding customer service!! I would recommend this business to anyone, I can't thank them enough for their calm, helpful and professional manner, simply wonderful!!!!!! we will be back.....soon!

Fantastic service from everyone at Nigel Rayment in Manchester especially Sean, nothing was too much trouble and he made sure I have the perfect outfit for my sons wedding at Peckforton Castle . Would highly recommend going there to view outfits especially if you are mum to the bride or groom

I cannot rate this boutique highly enough! From the moment I set foot in the London shop I was welcomed and made to feel very special by all the staff and Nigel Rayment himself! Nothing was too much trouble, and he has an extensive and well stocked selection of outfits and hats that cater to a wide range of sizes and tastes. I travelled from the states to find my Vini Infantino outfit, but prior to this had spoken with Nigel and Rhonda by phone several times. Each time he made himself available to answer questions and give advice. It was so refreshing to get individual, knowledgable service promptly and with a smile! Thank you for all your help and patience Nigel.

I had the pleasure of visiting the London Branch last Saturday.
What a joy! Nigel and his two assistants were so helpful. I tried on many outfits and finally chose the perfect one for my son's Wedding in May. Nothing was too much trouble and I really appreciated the helpful, honest advice. They were not at all pushy or over-bearing. A really lovely experience. Well done and thank you to the team. Go visit: you won't be disappointed!

We visited the London boutique around 1:30pm on Wednesday 13th. The shop seemed in complete disarray with deliveries all over the place. There were only two ladies working and neither were particularly welcoming or helpful, they both seemed harassed and stressed. A lady sighed as we entered and told us we’d have to start downstairs as she was with a customer. The store was cramped and untidy. If my mother had been alone she would have just left then, but we’d traveled to London specifically to visit this store and so we decided to make the best of it. I helped my mother choose dresses as no other assistance was forthcoming. Eventually a lady did offer us a hand and showed us into a fitting room, but she quickly became distracted with other customers and failed several times to answer our questions or find us other sizes, forgetting what we’d asked for and sighing all the time. She didn’t seem to know the stock well at all, and actually said that all the dresses had started to look the same to her... I acted as my mother's personal shopper, in the absence of proper assistance from the staff. Eventually we found a dress she liked, but were told that the dress could only be held for 24 hours before a £250 non refundable deposit was required. We left feeling disappointed and frankly baffled by the multitude of good reviews this store received. Perhaps the staff were just having a bad day, but I have to think that an appointment system would mean staff aren’t overwhelmed by the number of customers in a small space and could focus their attention on one customer at a time. Time in between the appointments would allow for staff to have a lunch break, tidy up and restock shelves after fittings to avoid the buildup of random dresses in random places. We won’t be visiting again, and we will certainly not be recommending this store to friends/family for future occasions.

We found ‘the one’ straight away, and the quality of the fabrics are brilliant.
Cannot fault the service; friendly and professional. It’s always nice to find a quality designer store that doesn’t come with pretentious service. Would give 6 out of 5 stars if I could. Thank you!

I can't speak highly enough of this shop. Huge selection of the most beautiful Mother of the Bride outfits and nothing is too much trouble. Nigel is a lovely person who goes out of his way to make you feel really special in trying to look your best for the occasion.
There is absolutely no pressure to buy and he gives you time to think and decide. Altogether he made shopping there a great experience. Thank you again.

Really disappointed by my trip to your shop yesterday. I had checked that you had John Charles dresses so arranged my journey to London around a trip to your shop. I was greeted on arrival (4.10pm) with “Are you trying anything on as we shut at 5” Consequently I had a very brief look, tried one dress on very quickly and then left. It was such a shame as I had been hoping to choose a dress for my son’s wedding, but felt rushed and unwelcome. As these dresses are a very significant amount of money, I will not be spending my money in your shop and will advise others not to go there too. Your assistants were not interested in a sale and more concerned with shutting up shop.

Nigel is all very charming and courteous when he makes a sale ....... but beware, if you have a problem afterwards he is completely unhelpful and rude. I would definitely not recommend this shop.

My Daughter (Bride to be) and Wife (Mother of the Bride), and myself (Father of the Bride) visited Nigel Rayment's Shop in London on 29th August in search of "the" Mother of the Bride outfit.

We had been recommended by a few past Mother of the Bride's as this being the place to go for that all important outfit - and we were not disappointed. The choice of outfits was fabulous and the hardest decision was which one to buy!. More importantly, the service, help, assistance and guidance given by Rhoda and Jay was brilliant and they made the whole experience wonderful.
The MotB came away with a fantastic outfit and hat and I can't wait to see her in it on the big day.

Thank you thank you Caroline I am so happy. After spending the day with personal shoppers in Oxford Street I walked into your shop completely deflated.
And wow I am now the happiest mother of the bride ever. My outfit is stunning and as is my hat. Your honesty and enthusiasm was amazing. I feel honoured to have met you and having found nothing earlier I was left with so many favourites from your shop and had difficulty to choose just one!!!
This shop is a hidden gem of dresses. Every mother of the bride need not look anywhere else.

The best Mother of the Bride/Groom boutique. After my wife was let down by a large Bromley specialist boutique with only 6 weeks to the wedding, what a pleasure to shop at Nigel Rayment. Wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable service. She brought an amazing Teresa Ripoll dress, and hat, bag and shoes to match (in fact a much better choice than the original dress at the Bromley shop). Thank you Nigel Rayment you made her day.
