While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more
To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. We recognise we may not catch everything, and you can flag anything you think we may have missed. Read more

Niletech is a senior-led software studio based in Motherwell, Scotland. We design, build and look after bespoke web applications, custom software and practical AI for businesses and public bodies across Scotland and the UK. Founded in 2023 by Khaled Elmahdi, a CTO with more than 25 years in technology leadership, we work differently from a typical agency: you speak directly to the person building your software, with no handoffs and no sales team. Every project starts with a written estimate, and you see working software every two weeks. We build web applications, client portals and internal tools, CRM, booking and online ordering systems, and integrations that connect your website and business systems. We also create SaaS products, replace old systems and spreadsheets, and add AI to the tools your team already uses. Our clients include Creative Scotland, whose Opportunities platform we built and host, and Revenue Scotland, where we developed the LBTT tax calculators as a subcontractor. Other clients include First Vehicle Leasing, Real People Casting, Brighton & Beck Property, Mediaspec, Pro-Soccer and TicketPal. We are Cyber Essentials certified, build to WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards and handle personal data in line with UK GDPR. In 2025 we were named Best Web Development & AI Integration Company in the SME News Scottish Enterprise Awards. If we've worked together, we'd be grateful for your honest review.
