Truly shocking customer service
The power steering on my 1 year old Qashqai has failed. It had its first service 3 months ago. I managed to get the car to my local dealership (3 days ago), it is still with them, they have no idea how long it will take to fix. They have refused to lend me a car and Nissan Portugal have refused to lend me a car (because I didn’t follow the correct procedure by managing to get the car into the garage myself). I am truly shocked at the behaviour of Nissan locally and nationally and as a result, I think it’s fair to say that I will never buy from Nissan again and will actively encourage others not to deal with Nissan. I can only really consider that the company is dishonest. I really don’t know what else I am supposed to think. I am now renting a car from Hertz! So much for the Nissan ‘customer promise’.
