So, I've used Furnished Finder, Avail, and Nomad. I started doing short-term, furnished rentals. The turnover was an absolute headache. I switched to Avail to do one-year leases. My first two tenants were not ideal, and I wound up having to take one to court. I was debating between selling my home and trying something new. My partner sent me a link to Nomad, and I was intrigued by the rent guarantee (because, apparently, I'm not good at picking tenants!). It was more than what I was paying (8% of rent vs. $9.00 a month for Avail), but it seemed like a good tradeoff since I was losing money with the tenants I chose anyway.

I've only just signed my first lease with Nomad, but I can definitely say the process - making my listing, contacting potential tenants, doing showings, reviewing applications, collecting documents, creating the lease, and signing the lease - has been so much smoother!

Our Nomad agent, Bri Giorgione, was amazing during the recent process of renting a home. In fact, she is the reason we were able to obtain a lease at this property. Without Bri's tireless efforts, combined with Nomads "renter friendly" policies, we would not be moving into our new home this week.
