I had Luisa come and visit me and my little boy Angus. I was breastfeeding but with nipple shields and just not enjoying breastfeeding.
Luisa completely changed this and gave me the boost of confidence I needed. She is caring, lovely but most of all so knowledgable within this field. Her passion for this shone through from the start. I have not used a nipple shield since, so no longer need to stress about sterilising them etc.

Thank you Luisa, for making me feel comfortable. You were a breath of fresh air when it was really needed.

I recently attended the workshop on starting solids and what a wonderful workshop! Full of useful information with practical tips on offering solids to a baby and how to do it safely. Highly recommend it !

I had a session with Luisa and the No Milk Like Mamas team when I had concerns with breastfeeding. I was able to book an appointment so quickly. The team were lovely and so helpful. The session helped me to gain my confidence back too. Would highly recommend for anyone with concerns around breastfeeding.

Following nipple trauma, nipple shields, tongue tie division and exclusively expressing trying to keep up with my newborns feeds I can now just flop a boob out and enjoy the true beauty of breastfeeding :D And I am able to do that because of Sian’s support, guidance and education.

Sian has such a great warmth about her, she made me feel listened to without judgement, she taught me to have confidence that my newborn knows what he’s looking for and taught me how to relax and for me to feel physical comfort as much as my newborn. I contacted No Milk Like Mamas 14 months into my breastfeeding journey, after having got mastitis twice and my baby cutting out daytime feeds altogether, I was really struggling to cut down my milk supply and had lost a lot of self confidence. Sian was brilliant, and built me a plan to help cut down pumping during the day, and also gave me lots of other tools and tips to help with the anxiety I was feeling. I couldn't recommend No Milk Like Mamas enough. I was able to speak with Sian just a couple of days after making my initial enquiry. Such a brilliant service and I will continue to signpost friends.

Luisa is amazing-sorted our daughter’s tongue tie, was professional, knowledgeable and supportive. She helped me get on the road to being able to breastfeed comfortably and confidently.

Sian could not have been more helpful and knowledgeable. I learned so much in the time she spent with me and she was able to recognise a tongue tie in my son that had been previously missed. Getting his posterior tongue tie sorted made an immediate difference in my breastfeeding experience.

As first time mother, it can be very difficult to make sense of the well meaning but often conflicting information offered by friends, family, or the internet in regards to breastfeeding. Thanks to Luisa, I am still breastfeeding my son at 4.5 months. When I first got in touch with her, he was only 2 months old and I thought I was going to have to give. up. She was able to do a home visit the next day and immediately figured out what was going on and how to fix it. She is also a lovely person and made me feel so much less stressed and upset about the up till then difficult breastfeeding journey. So my husband and I cannot thank her enough!

My consultation with Sian was very helpful, I was slightly skeptical as I’d heard all the info regarding positions and latching and wondered how much this could help. I very highly recommend No Milk Like Mamas as there is so much knowledge to breastfeeding beyond positioning and latching techniques and it has given me many options and possibilities rather than feeling like I’d have to stop breastfeeding because for some reason my daughter just can’t stay latched on. Sian is lovely and very easy to talk to with plenty of helpful advice, it’s unfortunate for me that I don’t live in the areas where they come out to do home visits as the video call is very tricky to show all you need to show off to get appropriate advice, and a home visit would have been so helpful.

I hired a lactation consultant from NMLM's as we had a very tricky start to feeding due to my son's tongue tie. When Luisa arrived at our house I was in tears and she was calm and compassionate and made me feel heard without judgement. I wasn't confident at all about breastfeeding and with her support we were able to go from triple feeding with formula top ups, to my son being exclusively breastfed. 6 months later we're still boobing. I can't thank this business enough. The kind listening ear that Luisa provided was just as important as her breastfeeding expertise. Thank you for the wonderful support x

Luisa is absolutely fantastic and so very genuinely caring when reaching out for additional support doing all that she could to help our breastfeeding continue as easily as possible.

Further to that, the support group at Hethersett was just what I needed for the positioning tweaks and also advice on how to heal the damage previously caused by way of saline solution and lanolin.

I can't thank you all enough as it definitely didn't feel like I would be able to carry on breastfeeding with the pain.

Luisa is amazing. We had a query tongue tie and difficulty breastfeeding, and hospital was keep cancelling our appointment. Luisa in less than 24 hours since appointment was booked she came to see us and assess my little boy. No intervention needed and her advices regarding milk increase supply had functioned. We are grateful for her home visit and I regret that I haven't call her sooner.

We used no milk like mamas after a recommendation and I am so happy that we did. Chloe was so kind and supportive about my breast feeding journey and from the minute we met I felt at ease. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that feels they need a little bit of extra support as it really is worth every penny.

This was our first breastfeeding cafe session and we weren't sure what to expect, but the advice we received was wonderful and so helpful for someone who was close to finishing their breastfeeding journey due to bad latch,pain and lack of progress (not to mention lack of sleep!) The hints & tips were amazing and we had such a positive experience yesterday and last night implementing them. Midwives have been to visit today and said they have seen such an improvement, so thank you very much to Lucy! If I attended again I would definitely make more of speaking to other mums, but I was too focused on waiting to see Lucy whilst he was mid feed! The introduction circle was great, and so reassuring to hear that other parents are having similar issues and we are not alone! Thank you for having us, it really was greatly appreciated.

Both my children were born with a tongue tie, and Luisa performed a frenulotomy on each of them. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Luisa went out of her way to give me an at home appointment within 24 hours of my getting in touch with her. This meant I did not have the worry of trying to get to a hospital tongue tie appointment, after a difficult birth, with a newborn and a toddler.
Both babies fed much better immediately after the procedure. I'm sure that having the frenulotomy so soon after birth had a really positive impact on how well both babies went on to breastfeed. Luisa's quick intervention definitely ensured I was happy to continue breastfeeding after the nightmare of trying to feed a tongue tied baby: my daughter and I were readmitted to hospital with mastitis, extreme pain, terrible jaundice and weight loss.
Luisa was kind, generous with her time, and extremely informative about the procedure. She also gave me excellent advice about improving my son's latch and support for breastfeeding. The company has also sent helpful follow up emails and I'm very comfortable that I can get in touch with any further feeding issues.
I believe this was money very well spent, and I would really encourage anyone struggling with a tongue tied baby to get in contact.

The whole experience from start to finish was excellent and the attention to detail and follow up support was fantastic. Luisa showed a real care for our little baby, the east booking process was fantastic.
