Product was super small comparing to photos and price. Return cost was double to the initial delivery cost. This is not acceptable. Bad experience. Never again.
I ordered several bowls, described as 'black-brown'. They are not as described at all - no brown anywhere, hardly any black. They are grey on grey - lovely if you wanted grey! Response was useless, saying there is 'variation in colour'. Very disappointing.
Awful! Avoid! Do not buy Christmas presents from here, unless you want them to arrive broken.
Ordered a set of mugs, half arrived cracked. Attempted to arrange refund including the £9!!! Postage given it clearly wasn't sufficient. Seller stopped responding to messages and have had to claim through paypal. Avoid avoid avoid.
The vase arrived smashed they have responded to my email and thus far swiftly sent me a new vase after pictures have been seen. Thank you so much
If I could give 0 stars I would.
In all my years buying online, dealing with Nordic Nest has hands down been the worst experience. Appalling.
I ordered an item that was in stock, weeks passed, still in stock but not dispatched, customer services reps very vague. Eventually I had to cancel my order and buy elsewhere.
Is it a legitimate business?
NordikNest uses my personal phone number to send me spam and advertisements via SMS.
I found this really insulting and I could not figure out how they were able to do this legally.
I have not been able to reply directly to these SMS messages, nor have I been able to block the source of these messages.
Really disappointing and I am considering not buying anything from them because of this.
This is really a new level of insult that I have experienced from a web store before.
I ordered items on 29 September. Some of the items (candle and vase) were damaged in transit. One of the items (also a candle) was advertised as having a lid but it did not have the lid when I opened the box. The box has a sticker to seal it so if you ordered this as a gift and left it unopened then you would never know that the lid was in fact missing! The process to notify NN of the damaged items was easy to follow online and it gave you options for what you wanted the resolution to be, which I think was really good. I also sent a follow up email as I had no email confirmation that I had submitted this claim online so I wanted a record of it. When you log the online claim it does say that they will get back to you in a week and sure enough exactly one week later I received a reply that the broken and defective items would be resent. I had to follow up with them another week later as I had no confirmation of the items being dispatched. I received a reply after a few days and finally, on 30 October, I have the replacement items. I wasn't in a a rush but the delivery did miss my friend's birthday. One of the items was intended as a gift, I allowed myself 25 days so it's not like I left it to the last minute! I also noticed that the bottle of replacement reed diffuser had a sealed lid whereas the first ones sent were not sealed and led to one bottle leaking. I assume then that some of these products are ones not able to be sold at full price. That's not an usual thing in itself, it's not different to most outlet malls to be honest. But it's frustrating when they don't make it clear that they are selling "less than perfect items" and when it's things like a missing lid or the bottle not being sealed but you aren't sure if it should be sealed. Had I realised the bottles should have been sealed I would have made them aware of the missing seal for the bottle that had no leaked. I guess it was a sort of "luck" that one of them leaked so that I was able to get one that was properly packaged. The website does sell a lot of brands not available in the UK and it does sell them a lot cheaper, but the shipping time was a lot longer than a competitor company I have also used for similar items. I don't really want to wait for over a month after I have paid so I would not use them again unless I ordered items that were indestructible and not too expensive. It worked out okay for me in the end but I won't be back.
Stunning Scandinavian products at bargain prices most of which are not available in the UK. I bought 3 ornaments on my first order - 2 of which were Kay Bojesen - the smallest was £25.00 cheaper than Amazon UK and the second over £40.00 cheaper than Amazon UK. Delivery to the UK is stated as being 4-6 working days on the website. I did query my order at one stage and customer services were more than helpful and provided the DHL shipping reference. My order did take 9 working days to arrive to the UK but following Brexit more than acceptable. I have already placed my second order with Nordic Nest and would definitely recommend!!
My worst shopping experience ever!!!!!!
I made an order OVER THE MONTH AGO
(Order number NN0003529204)
So first couple of weeks it was just silence, then I started to connect customer support asking what’s going on with my order, and at first they just IGNORED my letters, and then wrote something like “oh we are so small pity webstore lacking in staff, we can’t keep up with orders, your product is not available actually you have to wait a couple of MORE WEEKS, sorry”
Afterwards it came out my order can not be shipped at all as there is war in my country, so the shipment got postponed AGAIN.
A week more of waiting, and email bombarding at it came out my shipment got shipped AD I DID NOT EVEN RECEIVE THE TRACK NUMBER.
This is my most awful experience of international shopping EVER, I tell all my friends not to shop there, and of course NO CHANCE I will ever EVER shop there!!! Awful, terrible store with terrible service!

Possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with.
Ordered the gear coffee table in July with an advertised 2-3 week wait time, from Nordic nest. Each month is has been delayed and delayed again. I was promised a delivery from the 13th of September, and then I receive an email saying there is no real date they can expect it to be delivered, just towards the end of October. When asked if they can’t guarantee further delay, I was told no. Starting to believe I will never receive this table
Disappointing. We made 2 orders at Nordic Nest, and even if the 1st one was delivered without issues, the second order was a complete nightmare and their customer service completely useless while patronising us. the second order was a £1900 pendant lamp discounted at £1,300. It was a very fragile item with clear manufacturer's instructions on the box telling that the box had to be shipped on a pallet as the box could not be put sideways or upside down. The box was sent loose, not on a palet, by UPS. The lamps arrived damaged and we requested a replacement clearly explaining that the lamp should have been sent on a pallet. The new lamp was only sent after them receiving the broken lamp so this took some time as it had to go through customs again. The second lamp was send by DPD, again not on a pallet and arrived broken as well. When we complained to Nordic Nest they sent us a patronising response telling us that they take packaging very seriously. Obviously they don't as they don't even follow what was written on the box. It took us again 3 weeks to get a refund as they would only issue it after receiving the second lamp back. I think these people should take their customers more seriously. The people i spoke to did not seem to care much as they wasted my time and two lamps for their company. I have read comments on Trustpilot with many people thinking that NordicNest knowingly sends defectuous products. It could actually be the case as both boxes had been opened and included a Nordic Nest card inside. The end result: I provided them with working capital during a month and a half, they were unpleasant to deal with, they wasted two expensive items and I will never order anything from them again. Such a missed opportunity and a bad way of managing your business.
Faulty quality. I ordered four Iittala plates and I received three second class plates, which were sold as a first class plates. Plates were scratchy and there were bumps and scratches at the corner of the plates. I ordered two storage boxes also and the other was faulty. Plates arrived properly packaged but the quality was poor. They should tell customer if they are selling second quality products.

ordered some fabric from marimekko and other scandinavian designers. delivery in record time, products as expected. good experience
We ordered salt and pepper grinders, which arrived promptly and are elegantly designed. We had a minor problem with the pepper grinder, and Nordicnest contacted us quickly, offering to send a replacement without any fuss. Very good customer service.
Ordered 2 Gotland wool throws in November, the money was taken from my account straight away. Lost count of the emails I sent asking where my throws were, eventually I received one in January It is now February and I am still waiting for one of the throws which is now advertised as a sale item and delivery within 2 weeks, I was told I would receive it 15 February having been told I would receive it in December and then January, now I'm being told it won't be in stock for 3 weeks, even although their website advertises it as 2 week wait. They seem to just make things up. If I hadn't contacted them I would probably never receive any of the items. Very very disappointed and very poor customer service.

I ordered 8 large bowls and on unwrapping the delivery, 3 of the bowls were completely broken. Several emails later including photographic evidence with non existent customer service requesting a refund of £52.80 or 3 replacement bowls ( free of charge ) I am still awaiting a response to resolve the matter. A really expensive and disappointing experience
I hesitated to order from this company as I read the reviews on here. They seem to have two accounts on Trustpilot and the other one is a bit more positive. I wasn't able to find the product I wanted anywhere else so I decided to give it a go.
Please be aware that this is a Swedish company and that you have to pay for postage (back to Sweden) if you would want to return your order!
I contacted them via their online chat to double-check if the items are really in stock (as some of the comments suggested that this might not always be true) They confirmed that they were and I placed my order last Friday.
I got an update email on Monday saying that it has been shipped with a tracking link and everything went smoothly and we received the shelves on Thursday. The shelves look great and I am relieved and glad that I had a positive experience. (I ordered the Nivo shelves)
This has been an absolutely appalling experience and I do not believe that Nordic Nest is a legitimate business. There were repeated delays on items we had ordered coming into stock with zero communication to let us know. Weeks would go by and when I chased I'd just get another message to say it had been delayed with a new fake date of when it was coming. At one point we were offered compensation. When I said we'd like this customer service ignored it and never responded. Eventually we gave up on one of the items and got a refund. This was after three months of chasing. Do not order from this company, I wish I had read the reviews before
I returned an item and paid £12 postage and customs. I didn't take a photo or record of the post office receipt (I should have done) and now Nordic Nest say they have no record of my return and won't refund me. Seems a bit harsh, and not how other retailers behave,
